The experience

We have recently bought an old mill property which we have been renovating for 2 years now! We have four kids and need some help with the every day running of the house. Including driving. We also have many animals who bring us great joy. Set on 17 acres, surrounded by a river, it’s beautiful here. The area is surrounded by vineyards and rolling sunflower fields.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent French

Over 21 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

I would love help with childcare and some cleaning of the house.

Activities & Shift

I need help with childcare and doing the washing and cleaning. I need someone who can drive (we have a spare car). The safety of the children are the biggest priority and so I will need someone with a clean driving license and police checks for children.

Rules

No smoking.
No screens during meal times.
As we have kids no loud nights.
