The experience

We're looking for volunteers to help during the surf season with painting tasks, wood maintenance tasks, and some simple DIY building projects at the hostel in Punta Hermosa.

Everyday tasks include housekeeping, helping in reception, and preparing breakfast.

Specific benefits:

*Doesn't include longboards.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fluent Spanish or Fluent English

Over 25 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

I'm looking forward to improving the guest experience at the hostel. To reach that goal, I need to create the right environment. So, I'm getting some help from the volunteers and sharing our ideas about a good way of life.

Activities & Shift

I'm setting up everything to be able to host 2 volunteers and divide everyday tasks among them. 6 days a week, 4 hours a day. Busiest days are on weekends, so shift will include 'em. The rest days will be weekdays.

Rules

Have fun, don't feed the dog, no smoking in the rooms, and go surfing!
