My time at the Center was absolutely incredible, it felt like a home away from home and I was blown away by the generosity of Mirel, Patrutcsa and Mamaya. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with nature, learn more about local culture and cuisine (the food is DELICIOUS!!!). They truly try to give every volunteer the best experience and I honestly could not recommend it enough:)

Mirel is quite simply an amazing host. He's a caring, kind, compasionate and simply put, an incredible person. Him and his family reflect this, which you will see. The place is well maintained and he will always help whether it be little things like food cravings to pick-ups from places. The tasks are reasonable, flexible and are asked rather than commanded. If you wish to immerse yourself in Romanian culture from the food to people then this is the place. I will say though that there's no set to-do list and tasks are difficult to identify given we are only here briefly but you can always ask!

Volunteering at the Center immerses you in local culture and nature, with delicious meals, vibrant landscapes, and spectacular sunsets. Sharing work and moments with locals and other volunteers is what makes this experience so enriching, and I met incredible people. Mirel is an open-minded and generous person who does everything he can to make everyone feel good and comfortable. The place is truly incredible, full of nature and peace. Mirel is a fantastic person, friendly, understanding, fun, and calm, and his mother is also a gem of a person, funny and caring. With these wonderful people, it was easy to feel at home. The work is flexible and quite accessible, and much easier and more enjoyable if all the volunteers work as a team. This place is unbelievable! You will be surrounded by nature and immersed in local culture. Mirel is a wonderful person, kind and helpful, also his mum is really caring and funny. The work is achievable and flexible, and it can be also fun to do it with other volunteers. If you're searching for peace, calm and nature this is your place! This was my first Worldpackers experience and Mirel was the best host I could've had for it. He's the most relaxed individual I've ever met and very wise; a really funny guy. I found a real sense of family on my trip here and can't wait to come back again. You feel like a part of something bigger when all working together and the tasks were very simple. I enjoyed getting to be outdoors in the sun and also exploring more of Romania, the prettiest country I have ever visited. You're in a very isolated area but everyone's very friendly and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller.

If you want to take a break in your life here at the Center you can do it, it is a beautiful place, very quiet, the family is very friendly and the work is easy, there is a lot to do and learn Mirel, Alex Lili, Mamahia and Petrusca thank you for everything ! I appreciate the teaching because I disconnected from life to connect again and with more strength. I recommend this place 100%.

If you're looking for a calm place surrounded by nature, this is perfect for you. The tasks are easy, the hours are flexible and you get to take a break whenever you want. Mirel told me I never have to do anything I'm uncomfortable with. I've felt very good working here. Everyone in the house is nice, and you get all the food you want. I've gotten to try many local dishes, which was a fun experience. Thank you to Mirel and his family for opening up their home to me. Thank you for always looking after me and doing extra details to make me feel happy, like having a movie night :)

The family made you feel at home and were very lovely, especially the host's mum who inspired me every day with her energy at her age. The place is very quiet and creates a positive atmosphere. The work was in the kitchen or in the garden during my stay and was also totally fine
