I had a chill time at the Center. The place was so cozy and they provide you with the most amazing food. There wasn't much to do when we've been there though. But this gives you the opportunity to learn how to be with yourself and slow life down.

Very disappointing experience. The info on the listing was totally different. The host didn't pick me up as promised, and I had to sleep at the airport. Too many strict rules not mentioned, poor communication, and no respect for volunteers. I couldn't even stay a quarter of the planned time.

We overall really enjoyed volunteering at the Center, the center is a perfect place to connect with nature, peaceful, located in the beautiful Romanian mountains and away from the city. The tasks are relatively easy even though sometimes unclear due to imprecise communication and language barriers. The work was also quite different from the listing which we didn't mind at all but some might. Food was delicious and very healthy, we definitely appreciated learning new recipes. Accommodation is very nice and clean but we found it to be lacking of a common space for volunteers. We met lovely people.

I had a great time with Mirel, his family, and of course, Mamaya. I joined a seven-day silent retreat and really enjoyed the meditation, even though I dealt with physical pain—it taught me presence and resilience. Communication with Mamaya was sometimes tough due to language barriers, but she's full of energy and truly cares. I especially enjoyed spreading tomatoes with her! From the beginning, I supported different tasks. After a good talk with Mirel about balancing work and learning, I focused more on social media support. I also appreciated Mirel checking on me when I was sick.

Mirel and his family were really nice, and they're all great cooks (excellent) ! There was a retreat for a week, and as I came here to cook, I helped in the kitchen peeling vegetables, preparing salads, and doing the dishes. I also helped ironing and gardening. The communication with Mamaya wasn't easy, but after a talk with Mirel it really improved. I had the opportunity to learn more about meditation (normal) ! Mirel has lots of discipline and shares a lot about his philosophy, which is based on heteronormativity. The place is really beautiful (unbelievable) and I made friends for life ☀️

Mirel is an amazing human being who made me feel welcome since I entered Romania. He is very devoted to his mission and he is a person you get to know a lot from. My biggest gift was feeling like everything is possible, and instead of making excusses, I can direct my energy to my goals. This was my first WP experience, and I am very pleased I chose this place to begin from. I had a lot of free time and, aldo I loved that, I was the only volunteer at that time and I soon started feeling a bit lonely. Job was modified because I came at winter season and could not work outside.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was a 10/10! Mirel, Lily and Mamaia made me feel part of the family. One day I would be learning Romanian with Mirel's mom, another I would be on walks with the other volunteers :) Mirel is one of those people who has been through 7 different lives already and that truly is inspiring, so if you are seeking an experience in the middle of nature, learning something everyday like I was, then this might be for you!

The Center is an incredible spiritual retreat center that offers a deeply enriching experience. My time there was transformative in many ways, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for personal growth and introspection. Mirel is an amazing host, very kind, welcoming, and full of wisdom. Mamaya is also such a lovely person, always warm and caring, making the environment feel like home. However this place is quite isolated, far from the city. If you're looking for a more social experience or want easy access to urban life.
