First off, Katie is amazing. She was very welcoming right from the start. She prepared meals for us that suited to our needs and paid attention to what we liked to eat. She provided a great space for us to stay and made sure we had everything we needed to do the work we had. The two weeks flew by, and saying adiós wasn't easy for us. We started off not knowing each other, but definitely parted ways as friends. This was an great experience and has set the bar quite high for our first WorldPackers experience.

Katie was an amazing, friendly host for the 2 weeks we were at her home. She had planned ahead with a list of tasks for us and was very flexible with the hours. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed helping her with repairs and odd jobs she needed completed on her property. This was our first Worldpackers volunteering and I cannot emphasize enough how great Katie was to work with. We can only hope our travels lead us to more great friends like her. P.S.: I also have to mention that her cooking was TRULY delicious with such great flavors! We loved every lunch and dinner she put together for us

The experience at the guest house was wonderful! Katie is very attentive and made me feel like part of the family. She respected working hours well and the work was always within the possibilities of what I could do safely. The room is very comfortable, the food she makes is always delicious and the entire space is very beautiful. There are bicycles to travel to the lake or to the city center, but both are close enough to walk. I would highly recommend this experience! The city of Arcos is beautiful and you feel immersed in Spanish history.

My time here was amazing-Katie was very good at communicating so we felt very comfortable and she is a lovely person who we enjoyed working for. Location is great for walking to bars, shops and restaurants and the town is beautiful. Katie also provided bikes which makes getting around super easy. The accommodation she provides is the best we have had with an amazing en-suite bathroom! The work was well communicated and we had plenty of time to enjoy the surrounding areas and Katie gave advice on areas to visit and travel advice. Definitely sad to leave and recommend to other volunteers:)

Me and Saskia stayed with Katie for 3 weeks and our stay has been nothing short of amazing. Katie is a wonderful host who has gone above and beyond anything we could have expected. Katies food has been brilliant, the tasks are well defined and rewarding, and the hours of work are well respected. Katies pictures don't do it justice, It is a lovely home in a beautiful area. The house is very accessible by bus, a short 10 minute walk away. Arcos de la frontera & Bario bajo are also lovely areas to have on the doorstep. overall i would highly recommend the guest house and we would love to come back.

Esse foi o nosso primeiro voluntariado e foi muito muito bom. Katie nos buscou na rodoviária de Arcos. Nos mostrou a casa e a cidade. As tarefas foram tranquilas, ajudamos no jardim, cortamos grama, rejuntamos uma parede, pintura, entre outras coisas. Os horários sempre foram respeitados e a comunicação sempre foi muito boa. Sempre foi um prazer chegar ao final do dia e tomar uma taça de vinho com ela. Katia arrasa nas refeições. As acomodações são ótimas. Enfim, obrigado pelo acolhimento e paciência Katie .

Esse foi o nosso primeiro voluntariado e não poderia ser melhor. Katie nos recebeu super bem, nos buscou na rodoviária da cidade e depois nos mostrou a casa. As tarefas foram tranquilas, ajudamos no jardim, a rejuntar um parede, pintura, entre outras coisas. Os horários sempre foram respeitados e a comunicação sempre foi muito boa, ela sempre teve paciência quando não sabíamos alguma palavra. Katie também é uma excelente cozinheira, preparou pratos Masterchef para nós haha, além da acomodação ser maravilhosa e muito confortável. Recomandamos muito essa experiência!!!

Experiencia 1000/10. Katie es muy buena persona, su casa es preciosa y acogedora, tiene un gran jardín y piscina. Katie es simpática, generosa y tiene un gran corazón, ella nos trató como si fuéramos de su familia y la echaremos mucho de menos. Esperamos repetir pronto.
