Our first Worldpackers experience at the guest house was amazing! Katie, our host, was flexible, caring, and inspired me to take up new hobbies. We helped with tasks like painting and yard work, and she enriched our stay with local tips and incredible cooking. When my boyfriend had a minor incident, she quickly provided care and took him to the hospital. We'll miss the views, the delicious meals, and her cats, Snoopie and Bandit. Thank you, Katie, for an unforgettable experience—we hope to see you again!

We had an incredible two-week stay at the guest house in Arcos de la Frontera. Our tasks included painting, mowing, and cleaning, and Katie, our host, was flexible, fair, and taught us about olive oil production process. and we even did some. When I had a minor incident trimming a fig tree, she quickly helped with medical care. Katie also gave great local tips, and we'll miss her and her cats, Snoopie and Bandit. Our accommodation was comfortable with a beautiful view, and she made sure we always had food - she cooks unbeliveably well. Thank you, Katie, for this unforgettable experience!

I stayed at the guest house with my girlfriend for one month and it was a great expierence. Katie was super nice and her cuisine was very great too. Also she gave us good Tips what to do in Arcos or on our days of. Arcos is not the most exciting city for one month but you can easily go to other citys on your days of.

I stayed at Katies place with my boyfriend for 1 month and i feel like i learned quite a decent amount of new skills. Katie was a great host and provided us with delicious lunches and dinners. She gave us many tips about how we can spend our free time. Thank you very much for this experience Katie:))

It was a wonderful experience! Katie has been very kind and welcoming. She is a great cook and we had a great time in her house surrounded by nature and it's a very peaceful place W had time to visit other cities, but also we had so much fun in Arcos thanks to the bikes she gave us! We were very happy to have helped her at the guest house🥰

First off, Katie is amazing. She was very welcoming right from the start. She prepared meals for us that suited to our needs and paid attention to what we liked to eat. She provided a great space for us to stay and made sure we had everything we needed to do the work we had. The two weeks flew by, and saying adiós wasn't easy for us. We started off not knowing each other, but definitely parted ways as friends. This was an great experience and has set the bar quite high for our first WorldPackers experience.

Katie was an amazing, friendly host for the 2 weeks we were at her home. She had planned ahead with a list of tasks for us and was very flexible with the hours. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed helping her with repairs and odd jobs she needed completed on her property. This was our first Worldpackers volunteering and I cannot emphasize enough how great Katie was to work with. We can only hope our travels lead us to more great friends like her. P.S.: I also have to mention that her cooking was TRULY delicious with such great flavors! We loved every lunch and dinner she put together for us

The experience at the guest house was wonderful! Katie is very attentive and made me feel like part of the family. She respected working hours well and the work was always within the possibilities of what I could do safely. The room is very comfortable, the food she makes is always delicious and the entire space is very beautiful. There are bicycles to travel to the lake or to the city center, but both are close enough to walk. I would highly recommend this experience! The city of Arcos is beautiful and you feel immersed in Spanish history.

My time here was amazing-Katie was very good at communicating so we felt very comfortable and she is a lovely person who we enjoyed working for. Location is great for walking to bars, shops and restaurants and the town is beautiful. Katie also provided bikes which makes getting around super easy. The accommodation she provides is the best we have had with an amazing en-suite bathroom! The work was well communicated and we had plenty of time to enjoy the surrounding areas and Katie gave advice on areas to visit and travel advice. Definitely sad to leave and recommend to other volunteers:)
