Christine is a really nice lady. Her home is cozy; however, the bedroom door doesn't lock and there isn't a door to the bathroom but instead just a curtain. Also it can get hot in the bedroom since there is no AC. Work mainly consisted of gardening. I loved the scenery of Southern France and the places that Christine took me to. Be aware though that she might have you do extra stuff on top of your 20 hours. For example, she made me wash her car and do dishes. It was an overall good experience.

I had an incredible time at Christine's! She made me feel very welcome from the beginning! I was able to meet a lot of her friends, try new food, and see the surrounding villages and areas! If you are not used to farm/garden work it may be difficult for you but I had a blast. I would recommend to learn some French so that you can better connect with Christine as well as all the people you will get to meet! Also the accommodation was very cozy and I loved staying in her home. I 100% plan on coming back when I can.

I had a great time at Christine's. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Lots of interesting villages and towns to see around. I could practice French which was my goal. I met Christine's friends, we went hiking and visited some villages together. As for the work, I didn't stay long due to some changes, so I only had a few working days which were mostly working in the garden. It was nice like a meditation but sometimes it can get a little hard and hot. I think that making intervals would be nice to make it easier and more fun.

This experience was so fun as we got to see alot of the local culture. We got to go to multiple festivals, saw some opera, went to alot of markets and more. Idk if it is a french thing but i love that there is so much happening, and we got to go to alot of it with Christine. We ended up having three days off in the two weeks we stayed there and used them to go to nearby cities which was lovely. But we were also kind of working from when we woke up to we went to bed or something like that. I would definately recomend but just be aware that worktimes can be a little unclear.

Christine is very sweet and welcoming, and lets you be a real part of her life. During my stay, I found that there were always something to do, it could be work or Christine taking you to an event/ one of Christine's many friend's coming over. This wasn't a bad thing for me, I really enjoyed it, since it made me feel welcome and gave me a lot of unique experiences I never would've gotten if i traveled to France on my own. Sometimes though, it can be tricky to know whether you're working or voluntarily helping with smaller tasks. But I definitely recommend this experience.

I had a great time at Christine's, learned so much about nature and living sustainably. Christine showed me and the other volunteers around, we went hiking, on local markets and dancing. Thanks to her, I was able to meet a lot of lovely people and immerse into French culture. It's very useful to know some French or Spanish. Christine is always kind and respectful. Merci de m'avoir accueilli et à la prochaine ! :)

It was really home away from home ♥ We had it all: support, care, good food and living conditions, cultural exchange, incredibly kind people, great work/activities. From the first day there was a feeling that we were accepted into an ideal family where we could be ourselves. All the time we lived with each other without a single claim or conflict, with incredible kindness. Christine herself is incredible, she has a lot of energy, caring, kindness, love and aesthetics in everything she surrounds herself with. I am eternally grateful that I had such an opportunity to be a guest in her house.

I had a truly amazing time with Christine. She is an incredibly welcoming and generous host, often taking us on trips to meet friends or visit places in between work. She was also very patient with my French, which is not the best! The house and surrounding area is gorgeous and very peaceful, and there is lots to do with walking routes, bikes available and a local bus from the village. The work was mostly physical, carrying soil and rocks for the garden, planting, and lifting weeds, with a small amount of cooking and cleaning as well, and there was lots of free time. Thank you so much!

My time at the home has truly been wonderful. The property itself is very beautiful and surrounded by nature. It has a calm and peaceful atmosphere which allowed me to go into the connection with nature and with myself. Christine has a warm heart and caring soul and it has been a true pleasure to get to know her life and to live at her home. At all times I have felt safe and cared for, which I really appreciated. The work was mostly outside and we went on a lot of hikes which I really enjoyed. I also got to meet a lot of her lovely friends which was really nice. Merci pour tout!

This experience was truly amazing! Christine is a very welcoming and social character which made it easy to feel welcomed and at home. Most of the work we did was done outside and included planting plants, picking wild asparagus, sanding down chairs, helping to carry stuff around etc. If one would need a break for example, it was no problem at all. In addition we would go on hikes together, visit the local markets in the area and visit friends of Christine. We ate lots of amazing homemade food and Christine completely respected my diet of being vegan without any problems.
