What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent Spanish

Between 22 and 60 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Recibimos voluntarios que quieran ser parte de un ambiente tranquilo y cultural en Medellín. A cambio de su ayuda, ofrecemos hospedaje, desayuno, lavandería, uso de la cocina, internet y zonas comunes. Buscamos personas responsables, comunicativas y con buena actitud para apoyar en recepción y mantener la armonía del lugar.

Activities & Shift

Las tareas incluyen atención al cliente, check-in y check-out, apoyo en limpieza de áreas comunes, responder mensajes, brindar información turística y orientar a los huéspedes. Los turnos son rotativos (mañana, tarde o noche) en su mayoría nocturnos y se organizan semanalmente según las necesidades del hostal.

Rules

Respetar las normas básicas de convivencia, mantener orden y limpieza en las áreas de trabajo y habitación. Ser puntual, responsable y mantener una actitud positiva con el equipo y los huéspedes. Somos un hostel tranquilo y limpio, y queremos conservar ese ambiente siempre.
