Hostel was in a great part of town and the team was always clear about what was expected of you. Work included reception work and light cleaning and the hosts were always super friendly and helpful! Would def stay here again in Medellin

The hostel was a nice chill place to volunteer. I worked the night shift from 10pm-6am checking people in and out and answering questions on WhatsApp, it's a very small hostel so things don't get too crazy at reception. Belen is a nice calm neighborhood with plenty of options for food and easy access to the metro. Be aware none of the staff speak English and the majority of the visitors will be Colombians so some knowledge of Spanish is highly suggested.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! The place is small and quiet and perfect for any traveler that wants a cosy family atmosphere. The shifts were 8 hours long and mostly from 10pm till 6am which was good as it left you with the opportunity to do activities during the day. Maryelis was a really good boss who was welcoming and explaining everything pretty clear. The rest of the staff was also pretty welcoming and fun to be around. I would recommend and come back to work at the hostel!

Super clean and comfortable hostel, nice and clean kitchen facilities, great team made up of volunteers and staff. The team have been super helpful and the hours for my entire stay were provided on my first day. In a chilled area of Medellin with a lot of Spanish speakers coming through which is great for learning!

This was my second experience at the hostel. The host invited to stay longer and I accepted because I really had a good time with you guys. The staff at the hostel treated me with respect and made me feel right at home. Despite not speaking the language, they were very patient with me and helped me improve my Spanish skills. The hostel itself is very beautiful, quiet, and clean. I highly recommend this location to anyone reading this review! Thank you again the hostel for an unforgettable experience!

First volunteering experience, it was really nice, it's a very calm hostel, good communication with everyone, Maryelis is very friendly and welcoming as well as flexible and will answer all your questions. Good option if you work remotely. I would come back with pleasure, I recommend 100%.

Maryelis and the hostel team are such lovely people. I was welcomed from the moment I arrived and had an amazing experience. I was working the night shift and was responsible for checking people in and general admin. The guests were mostly a combination of local and international travellers. Maryelis is one of the Nicest people I have ever met and the rest of the staff and other volunteers were lovely. This was a great experience and I highly recommend this the hostel to anyone looking for a more relaxed hostel vs a party hostel. Great hostel, facilities, team and great location.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy buena, los turnos fueron los acordados, las tareas no eran difíciles, la zona es muy linda y segura y más importante aún; me sentí como en casa. Maryelis se comunicó conmigo desde antes de mi llegada, siempre estuvo a disposición por cualquier duda y generó un ambiente muy familiar y ameno. Aprendí mucho sobre la cultura colombiana y recomiendo mucho este voluntariado. A Marye y todo el equipo, Muchas gracias!!
