Program Details
April is when our forest and farm come alive with activity—it’s the start of our busy season.
Our main tasks include harvesting bamboo shoots, preparing for summer vegetables, maintaining and cleaning around the house, and spending time playing with the children.
Winter time is less acvive in terms of plant and crop growth, though there are still tasks such as cleaning up fallen leaves, preparing for spring and other seasonal tasks.
Activities & Shift
Our typical day starts early, around 5:30 AM. School and work begin around 7:00 AM. During the day, we ask volunteers to help with simple tasks that are easy to manage. We return home around 5:00 PM, and dinner is usually served at 6:00 PM. By 8:00 PM, it's time to wind down and go to bed.
We welcome people who enjoy spending time with children, helping with cleaning, and supporting us with light daily chores.
