Volunteering at the hostel has been one of the best expiriences of my life. Matea and dario thank you so much for this opportunity and for been like a family to me. This is by fat the best hostel in dubrovnik thanks to the staff and volunteers. This was my first expirience and i felt i. Love with the hostel and the city i have nothing vut good comments. I lerned so much and had the time of my life. Ill had stayed longer if i could. I recommended without any doubt to anyone that is commited and likes to meet people.

My experience in the hostel was just amazing. Dario and Matea are the best hosts. This hostel is like a little family with a great atmosphere where you can feel like at home. Work with Matea everyday made my time in Dubrovnik unforgettable, she is very friendly, patient and she is also cooks delicious. Extremely recommended.

Matea & Dario are amazing hosts, i've been very well looked after here in Dubrovnik and feel as if I have a family here now. the hostel has great guests and a range of amazing activities to do in your time off. Matea & Dario go out of there way to ensure you will have the best time here and they genuinely care! Volunteering here is great way to live like a local and meet good people. I'll be back for sure!!!

Dubrovnik is a very beautiful city that in summer is full of people, however in winter it is almost completely empty. This is something that largely effects a job in hospitality. Most days working in winter are spent doing very little, and although the hostel is quite cool, and the location is great, it gets quite boring. The first week the host was great, but by the end treated the volunteers with little respect. I had a mixed time, but I would not go back.

Thank you for your review and for your help. Because of your case I learned I have to be more careful when confirming volunteers in future.

You came not to help us out - but just to party, have fun and chill. This is not bad at all, but when you apply to be a volunteer you have to commit and work hard, which you were not ready at all.

Before you confirmed your stay I have sent you a list of all tasks we ask our volunteers to do, and all was very clear.

Luckily we receive lot more great people who come to stay with us in order to meet the culture, get to know hostel life, help out and get immersed with history and culture of this beautiful city and people .

I feel like I really lucked out with my first Worldpacking experience because the hostel was the absolute best! Matea and Dario were the best hosts and made me feel so welcome! The expections were laid out right away so I knew what I was supposed to being doing and they were always there in case I had any questions. The location was unbelievable and it was great knowing I was a part of the best hostel in the hostel, even if it was only for a short time. I can't wait to go back!

Working at the hostel was a total dream come true! Matea and Dario are such incredible humans! They're funny and kind and a blast to hang out with! They really care about giving their guests a comfortable and unique experience and it makes for a great work environment! The work is fun and the hostel's location is fantastic! It's such a treat to get to live inside the walls of the hostel city! My month in Dubrovnik flew by and I really miss getting to see Dario, Matea, and the rest of the staff every day! Highly highly recommended! Working at the hostel is hitting the jackpot :)

The hostel is located in the hostel, at the top of one of the stairs. From there you see a beautiful view of the signature orange rooftops, the city walls, and the fortress just outside of the walls. The hostel itself is clean and comfortable, and the job was easy and fair. You also get to do the activities and excursions which was so awesome!! But the best part of this entire experience was Matea and Dario. They are such welcoming and kind people, and I had such an amazing time with them, and they're definitely friends I plan to keep in touch with. P.S. Matea is also a great cook :D.

I absolutely loved my experience at the hostel with Matea and Dario! They're amazing hosts, so helpful and warm, and treat all the guests like friends. It's a social hostel and very easy to meet other travelers. The work is fair and Matea and Dario will help your schedule to make sure you can really experience Dubrovnik and Croatia. I'm going to miss them and look forward to hosting them in NYC one day! I would recommend the hostel to anyone.

Mi experiencia en el hostel, fue genial. Pude practicar y mejorar mi Inglés, Matea y Dario los dueños son muy buenas personas, aunque me hubiese gustado tener la oportunidad de compartir más con ellos. Al ser el ems de Octubre el trabajo estuvo super tranquilo aunque hubo días de mucho movimiento, que me encantaron por cierto. El trabajo consiste en acompañar a huéspedes a los distintas locaciones que tiene el hostel y hacer algo de laundry. La pase genial con Romi, Nico, Stefan y Cheila. Dubrovnik es una bella Ciudad.
