This volunteer experience was amazing in all ways possible. I really had an incredible time getting to know Andong and a lot of people. Such as the host and volunteers were so nice and welcoming, we really bonded and made my stay even better. The tasks are very simple and easy, and I think anyone can manage to get through them. I helped me a lot to know how to work in an environment with greeting people and how to work in receiving guests. The host, Heeo, makes sure that you feel comfortable in any way possible, he really is a great person. I'm so thankful for the time I spent here.

I had the pleasure to stay the guest house for one month. There were some calm and quiet moments, and slightly busier days. I genuinely enjoyed working there. Heeo made me feel welcomed and taken care of from the first moment. I spent a lot of time with him and the other volunteers, going on adventures the guest house and the countryside, cooking together, getting to know locals and travelers. I still had plenty of time to travel around and explore other cities. Heeo is truly a knowledgeable person, and taught me a lot about korean culture and history. My home away from home; I couldn't recommend it more!

I stayed at the guest house for two months and for most of the time I was the only volunteer there. Since it was a slow season, there were not many guests and thus not much work. Even though, the owner Heeo made sure I felt like at home, he is one of the kindest people I met in Korea so far! He also works as a travel agent so he always had many tips on where to go, how and what to do in different parts of Korea and the world. Thanks to him I also met some locals and made many foreigner friends. I am looking forward to visiting him and the town again 🥰

It was a place that made me feel at home, comfortable and productive. Mr Heeo was always gentle, kind and willing to explain the local culture and take us to beautiful places. The workload and hours are just as agreed upon, and we have plenty of time to walk or bike around and travel. Here, I experienced my first fall and my first snow, and it was as magical as I imagined it would be. Also for that, I fell in love with Andong and this city will always have a special place in my heart, and I'll come back soon. Totally recommend this experience. I had an amazing time here.

I had an amazing time volunteering the guest house. Mr. Heeo is extremely nice, providing a family environment. I really felt home during my time there. It was also an amazing opportunity to see beautiful landscapes and understand more about the local way of leaving. So far, this was my best experience as a Worldpacker, so I truly recommend it.

My time the guest house was amazing. I was so happy being the guest house. I met so many people, made friends and had so much fun. I will miss Sajangnim and all the volunteers in there. Hope to be there again. I'm sure that the place will way much better and happy!!! I wish all the best to Sajangnim and everybody the guest house! I'll miss so much!!!

I had an amazing time at the hostel, even though my stay was short. The work was light and stress-free, and the overall atmosphere made it feel like home. It was a joy to meet the wonderful guests passing through the guest house—everyone was kind, interesting, and full of positive energy. One of the highlights was the shared dinners, where we all came together like a family, and the owner always welcomed guests to join us at the table. The host's warm hospitality made everyone feel included and cared for. I'm grateful for the experience and hope to return one day!

The guest house is a special place, the owner and manager are very helpful and polite. I really had a great experience there, Heeo is very nice and takes you to different places, and shows you local and traditional food. It was very nice. On the other hand, Andong is not the most interesting city for me, but there are many places nearby that you can visit during your stay.

She is an active and wonderful woman who performs well and even comes forward to help her out as a volunteer!

Heeo is a great host! He showed us around a lot, made sure we were comfortable & made so many experiences possible. I made a lot of memories I will cherish forever 🩷He valued our opinions & helped us whenever we needed it, you can tell he really loves to make other travelers feel welcome. During my time, there were a lot of ideas and opinions coming together, so what I recommend is to truly communicate your needs in time with him personally & give it as much structure as possible. He really needs somebody to do well with marketing & cleaning, so if you fit that position, do not hesitate!

She is always bright and positive. She also likes Korea and K-pop, so she often visited the concert hall. Even so, she always did her best to do what she had to do for volunteer with us ☺️

In particular, she often showed an exemplary example of cleaning common areas before others and leading by example.

She also had a good time walking around the city with customers visiting the guest house. Thanks Moana :)

Heeo is very kind and patient. I really enjoyed the work. I had time to visit many places the guest house and in Korea. The guesthouse is a very nice place to live in, I felt at home. I will miss it very much.
