All the existing reviews are from hostel position, not the teacher one. I was the first person on this position and it didn't work at all. I spoke with my"host" only once and then he didn't care. Also I didn't know what to do, as nobody wanted to explain. There was no schedule and no plan. The person who created this offer done it on behalf of his friend, so hard to say who is the real host here. Although Libin was always kind to me. Accomodation is bad, WiFi is really slow, often no hot water, or even no water at all. Also I had a few days without electricity. Place itself was a bit dirty

All reviews are for a different position, not this one. The facilities didn't match the photos, after 2 days we were moved to the right one. It was extremely unorganised, nobody knew what to do. Libin - the owner was very nice. Jaya my host, did not care. After 2 days, he hasn't spoken to me once, unless I reached out. Teaching itself was fun. it was also nice to get to know locals, but they have some serious work to do to facilitate teaching. Right know it looks like, the person gaining the most from this is the so called host (paying him for a scooter rental) not the local community.

Come as guest, stay as friend, leave as family. Do not need to say anything else 🫶🏼

I had a really great time volunteering at the hostel. The work was easy and left plenty of time to go explore in the nearby place which the staff was really eager to take you around. Libor and the rest was truly amazing and inviting people and makes shure you feel comfortable at all times. will miss this place a lot ❤️

This place is amazing!! Lots of locals work alongside you and are eager to show you around the local area. There's plenty of travellers coming and going so you make plenty of friends from around the world. In terms of work, it was very easy. If you're a person who likes routine and having set expectations, maybe not the place for you 😂 It's very chilled out, you kind of just show up in the mornings, do whatever needs to be done and then they tell you to go have fun. Personally loved it but felt a bit lost at the start like I didn't know if I was doing enough. I would definitely come back

Libor was such a nice and welcoming host. You will work in the hostel or the restaurant. But it's very chill and you don't get that many tasks. The locals are a little unorganized but very nice and want to help wherever they can. Thank you for the experience ♡

This place holds a special spot in my heart. The local people are the kindest on earth ❤️ . My task was basically to work in the restaurant with the local boys Haki, Yuda, Penndy, Fugo, Yusi, Rapa, Ricky, Amet and Eboun ( I apologize for the misspelling boys if there is any 😂). Practically they became my second family and they took extra care of me. Libor I appreciate the chance you gave me, such a blessing. It shifted my perspective on a lot of things and I met amazing volunteers and travelers. The work was flexible, you have time to explore the village and my help was always appreciated.
