Program Details

We are based in a beautiful Georgian mansion set in a tranquil 42 acres of natural parkland. The centre is a peaceful retreat where you can help out with other volunteers and learn more about the place, Buddhism and meditation. We are a charity and open to the public 7 days a week and require help to run the centre for visitors.

Volunteers are from all over the world - have the chance to meet many new people and make lasting friendships! Also you will have the opportunity to learn about Buddhism and meditation and how to keep a peaceful mind.
We are based near York which is a top UK tourist destination with lots of culture and history.

We welcome people from all walks of life, you don't need to be a Buddhist to come.
