I spent almost two months in Istanbul and I volunteered at the hostel for the whole time. When I first planned to go to Turkey, I never expected to be in a place where I could call home although being so far from my actual home. Great support and help from the owners and manager, loved to share story and moments with the other volunteers and no place is better than the hostel if you looking for an authentic local experience. It was definitely one of the best time I had while travelling. Thanks a lot to Ilker and Onur who were always available to assist us with whatever was needed.

I would definitely stay more if I could! the hostel has my heart now! Managers, staff and other volunteers were super nice. I felt welcomed and part of the place since day one. The room we had was fine, good equiped kitchen, nice terrace and great garden either to chill in the morning or to have fun with some drinking games at night! We have different schedules every week so the tasks changes and we can learn more! I did teach some yoga classes too! :) Thank you guys! I'll never forget you! HUSHLOVESYOU :)

It was awesome to be one month there. The staff team is amazing, the facilities are complete, the environment is happy and the neighborhood is lovely. Very easy to take the ferry, bus, train or metro. I definitely recommend this place for volunteers or guests. Thanks the hostel Team!

My voluntary work at the hostel was for me the first experience with Worldpackers and voluntary work in general. I am very happy that I chosed the hostel !! The schedule is always ready before the week starts! The people at this hostel are very welcoming. If you have questions or need help they try their best to help. Everyone is very calm and up to do something together but at the same time everyone respect each other if you need your time alone :) You will have good memories, collect experience and exchange a lot at this place with nice people ( hostel and super cool guests!)

I really recommend coming to volunteer at the hostel! The volunteer and permanent team were so welcoming. And this is an amazing way to get to know the Asian side of Istanbul, which tends to be a lot less touristy and more artsy. It's easy to live a slow and social lifestyle here. The work is fairly easy cleaning but I was also doing events once or twice a week which was a lot of fun. My only regret is not being able to spend more time here. I'll have to come back one day!

I stayed at the hostel for a month and my experience was amazing, I practiced a lot of English, Spanish and a few phrases in Turkish, the hostel is well located and it's very quiet, all the volunteers do their tasks very well and never had any problems, onur was always attentive and trying to help everyone, thanks for everything!!!

Otavio was our youngest volunteer. He was friendly and helpful at all times and was fast in learning and picking up the tasks. He was fun and socializing so he contributed in the hostel's atmosphere perfectly. We recommend him to his future hosts:)

The room is in the women's room, the bed is comfortable although the bunk moves a lot They provide you with support to buy your food and you can buy your food in nearby stores and cook it in the hostel the colleagues are very friendly and patient the work is very easy and they respect your shifts It is a good time to practice your English
