The experience
We are a fun and energetic backpackers hostel, located near Dean Village in Edinburgh. Currently, we are looking for volunteers to help us with housekeeping 15 hours/week in exchange for their accommodation. The position involves changing beds and cleaning rooms in dormitories and private rooms, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and common rooms. The shifts are from 10 am - 1 pm, 5 days per week. ONLY 15-20hrs!

What you offer
15 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements
Beginner English
Between 18 and 40 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
Housekeeping role, involving changing beds, vacuuming rooms, cleaning showers and toilets, and any other tasks assigned.
Activities & Shift
10.00 - 13.00 approx. (10am-1pm), 5 days a week
A 2 month minimum required.

Respect the hostel and other staff members. Most importantly have fun!
£80 security cash deposit on arrival (£100 during Fringe) that you get back at the end, as long as no serious rules have been broken (like theft, or leaving without notice).
