The experience
We’re hiring a Community & Operations Host for our co-living space in the heart of Lisbon! This role is ideal for someone friendly, proactive, and truly hands-on, who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operations while helping build a warm, welcoming, and lovable community.
This position requires flexibility, proactivity, and comfort with operational tasks, alongside a genuine interest in creating a positive community experience.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements
Intermediate English
Between 24 and 32 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
We have an open position in our coliving in the center of Lisbon for a community host! We are looking for a communicative, outgoing and easygoing person who is willing to create and participate in events, tours and dynamics aimed at our community ~ in addition to helping us with check-ins and check-outs, making rounds in the apartments, cleaning of the spaces, and managing communication with our colivers. This role is ideal for someone friendly, proactive, and truly hands-on, who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operations while helping build a warm, welcoming, and lovable community.
- 25h/week;
- 2 days off per week;
- Accommodation in Shared Room with the other volunteer;
- Minimum of 2 months;
- Working days to be agreed.
Activities & Shift
This is a very practical role, suited for someone with a can-do attitude, availability, and willingness to get things done daily — from people-related tasks to operational ones.
The role includes:
- Being the main point of contact for colivers and supporting them throughout their stay;
- Handling check-ins, check-outs, and regular apartment rounds;
- Engage with the community, organizing and participating in events, tours, and activities that foster connections among colivers;
- Assisting the cleaning team;
- Performing room and common area cleaning when necessary;
- Managing inventory and supplies control;
- Taking care of the space and ensuring it’s always well-maintained and welcoming.
Rules
Organization of the room, as it will be shared with others volunteers;
Follow the rules of good living in our space;
Be a proactive person who enjoys hands-on and operational activities, including cleaning;
It is not allowed to bring people from outside to sleep in the room;
Be flexible, responsible, and have common sense.
