They cancelled my stay after only three days, because apparently I was not as qualified as the other volunteers. I told them I had no previous experience but I was willing to learn and improve, but I do not feel they were patient or understanding people. I recommend this experience only if you've done similar work before because the hosts are more demanding and in my opinion not as nice as they appear to be. As a sidenote, the tent is located near a loud river and a highway, and contrary to what was promised, we only had lunch together, not dinner. But the surrounding area is nice to visit.

Les volontaires qui viennent au camping sont polyvalents et n'ont aucune qualification et nous ne demandons aucune qualification, juste de la bonne volonté...
Nous comprenons que le bruit de la rivière puisse déranger certaine personne cependant il n'y a pas d'autoroute a proximité.
Comme convenu nous avons partagé tous les déjeuners et nous vous avons acheté la nourriture pour les petits déjeuners et les diners.
Il y a eu aussi un problème de comportement dans la tente dans le partage de la nourriture et l'hygiène.
Toutes ces difficultés nous ont contraintes à mettre fin à cette expérience et c'est malheureusement la première fois que cela nous arrive.

Fabienne and Eric are great hosts. Work hours are usually between 9am and 12h30. Saturday and sunday are days off. There are plenty of beautiful hikings to do and nice villages to visit around the corner. It's a must for those who love nature and exploring small villages. Don't expect to work on your English, however, expect a great immersion on the French culture.

It was our first experience with Worldpackers, and it was incredible! The campground is located in a beautiful place, perfect for connecting with nature and tranquility. There are many lovely places nearby to explore. Within the campground, the energy is very calm and peaceful. Every day, there are different things to do, which allows you to learn new things and never get bored. Fabienne and Erick are very kind and amazing hosts. They make you feel like part of their family and are open to anything you may need. We are very grateful to have been part of this beautiful place!

I loved my stay at this campground! We worked for about 3 hours a day, had a coffee break, and ate lunch together. It was a great opportunity to learn more about French culture and the hosts were very welcoming. It's next to this small village and you can take a train to the bigger city. Definitely recommend if you enjoy nature and good food!!

This would be a perfect trip for someone who is traveling with a friend. The campground is fairly quiet and I imagine if you are traveling alone and not a French speaker it could get lonely. I came here with my best friend and we loved it. Day in the life: we wake up and make breakfast, at 9am we start work, 10:30am coffee break, and finish work around 12pm or 12:30pm. we eat lunch and then we are free. You only eat lunch with the hosts, fabienne and Eric, and I loved this time of the day. I got to try lots of interesting food and I learned lots about French customs.

This was my first time volunteering and it was an amazing experience. Fabienne and Eric are two very nice people and they are always available for anything you need. Also the place is very nice and ideal for nature lovers, so I highly recommend it!

La expericia para mí ha sido las más hermosa que tenido en verdad que Erick y Fabi son personas maravillosas llenas de amor y conocimiento aunque piden que se hable inglés basico o francés básico casi todo en francés sin bargo hacen un esfuerzo gigante por hablar en Ingles pero están dispuestos a enseñarte un poco de francés en verdad que son personas hermosas a este lugar solo puedo decirle gracias el trato de los host de los clientes y de las personas en general fue hermoso los paisajes ni se diga y las tareas son sencillas en verdad que es la mejor expericia espero volver 🥹

La acogida de la familia y el equipo de este voluntariado es especial. Es un lugar para compartir. Aquí me di cuenta que aún desconociendo el idioma se puede conectar y ayudar en un proyecto si ambas partes tienen la intención de hacerlo. Erik y Fabianne son personas muy amables y generosos. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora que me llevo con muchísima gratitud y la idea de regresar en un futuro sabiendo un poco más de francés. Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil et le partage.

Que experiencia inolvidable! Agradecida de todo el tiempo que pase en el camping junto con el hermoso equipo que formaron Fabi y Eric, no podría haber imaginado mejor lugar para pasar uno de mis primeros voluntariados, aunque me quede más tiempo fue difícil decir adiós! Todos son personas magníficas, trabajadoras y generosas. Todos los días están dando lo mejor de si y logrando que los voluntarios nos sintamos increíblemente cómodos. La región es hermosa de recorrer y habitar y los voluntarios que cruzaron mí camino siempre los tendré en mí corazón, gracias infinitas por todo, espero volver!

Fue una experiencia completamente diferente a lo que estaba acostumbrada y de verdad que los anfitriones fueron muy acogedores conmigo, en todo momento preguntaban por mí, se preocupaban y estaban al pendiente de cualquier cosa… Mi intención inicial fue aprender más el francés y así lo fue, tanto Fabbien como Erik solo hablan francés y pude comunicarme perfectamente con ellos…
