I truly loved my stay at the eco village. I even extended a couple of days and would have extended longer if I could. Rob and Rebe are amazing hosts and I felt part of the family from the moment I walked in to their beautiful sanctuary surrounded by nature.They are very flexible and take each persons preferences into consideration when planning the days. From my stay I have, amongst other things, learnt how to cook delicious and healthy food and I felt like I got to be part of something bigger helping out with the turtle project. I am forever grateful I chose the eco village as my first program.

Rob and Rebe are your Costa Rican mom and dad. Was my first program and their energy and passion and warmth made me feel so welcome and they really do their best to make sure you feel at home in their beautiful sanctuary in the jungle (which is also walking distance from the beach!). I had the most amazing time releasing baby sea turtles and learning about conservation, patrolling the beach and finding mama sea turtles, working in the garden, learning how to cook a variety of plant-based meals, doing yoga, having Spanish classes, and overall just having an incredible time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This was my first volunteer experience and it was amazing! Rob and Rebe made me feel like I instantly had a home there. The work on the farm and with the turtles didn't even really feel like work because it was so fulfilling. On top of that Rebe's cooking was so delicious I will forever be missing her meals. I learned how to cool so many new vegan recipes, and we got to take free spanish and yoga classes. If you love to be surrounded by nature, good people and have great food I would recommend going there! I would 100% love to go back one day.

I highly recommend going to the eco village!! It was an incredible experience. Rob and Rebe were wonderful hosts. They made me feel like a part of the family while I was there. The food was beyond delicious (thanks Rebe!) and the turtles were adorable. It was a great place to disconnect from the world for a while and connect with nature and some really good people. I am going to miss the sounds of the jungle and evenings in the cocktail tower. I am very thankful for my time at the eco village and the memories I created. I hope to return again some day!

My time at the eco village was everything I hoped and more. I felt 100% at home, and I attribute that in no small part not only to the beautiful facilities, but to the amazing people at the Finca. I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers I met there, and Rob and Rebe are wonderful hosts and people. They are both full of spirit, funny, and caring. The work is really organized, and both Rob and Rebe have perfectly reasonable expectations of work loads and rest. Amazing food, learned so much, and if I had one piece of advice, stay as long as you can because, like me, you wont want to leave.

During my stay at the eco village I learnt a lot about sustainable agriculter and sea turtles. The daily tasks are diversified and perfect to learn new skills. The beaches are beautiful and good for swimming, if your up for some heavy beachbreaks😜. Drake Bay is about 20 - 40 minutes away, dependig on the weather... and also has some nice restaurants. There are different activities in the area, such as diving, visiting the wildlife resort, etc. Would definitly recommend it.

Rob, Rebe, and their 3 dogs accepted me into their home right away. I feel apart of the family and loved it so much that I'll be coming back later this year. I learned, laughed, enjoyed nature, and met amazing people.

My experience at the eco village was amazing, it was my first Volunteer experience. Rob and Rebe are so welcoming and kind and made me feel at home immediately. The Spanish classes taught by Rob were very helpful and I loved the Yoga classes we did with Rebe. The work on the Farm is very rewarding I think because you get to see the progress that you make every day and we could also be creative and pitch in our own ideas. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed learning to cook Costa Rican meals. Thank you Rob and Rebe for the wonderful time here!

Great experience, Rob and Rebe are excellent hosts and try to help in any way possible, also their cooking is sooo good! The tasks can sometimes be a little tough but very fulfilling at the end, you can see how the place is changing little by little because of the work you did. I also met really good friends there, there's a beach nearby and a lot of cool places to visit relatively close, also a lot of nature everywhere. In general, a really gratifying and enjoyable experience :) 10/10, would come again

My experience at the eco village was so good that I even decided to extend my stay for a few days. Rebe and Rob are amazing hosts and really made me feel like family. I could make a list of how wonderful they both are but I'll let the prospective volunteers discover for themselves! I enjoyed the kind of work that we did in and around the farm, a good mix of physical work, some more relaxing work like painting and sometimes even creative work! Location-wise, Drake Bay is in my opinion the most magical place in Costa Rica, a perfect balance of jungle & beach. Highly reccommend!
