My friend and I are so grateful to of been able to experience the eco village. It is such a special place where you truly feel your normal worries fade away. Some of the highlights was Rebe's INCREDIBLE food, being walking distance to the beach, visiting Corcovado National Park, the dogs <3, and of course being able to be so immersed into simple, sustainable living. We wanted an experience that would allow us to meet other volunteers and travelers, and this provided just that. We will miss all the friends we made! Tasks varied between greenhouse work and maintenance around the property.

The eco village is a lovely place to spend a couple of weeks out in a remote area and was a nice break from backpacking. You're surrounded by nature, close to the beach and a lagoon where you can swim. I really enjoyed connecting with the other volunteers from all over as well - we had so much fun! The work ranged in difficulty, and could vary day to day or be on one project at a time. The accommodation was very comfortable and the food was really delicious. Rob & Rebe were great hosts , and would offer to grab stuff for us from the store when they headed to town. Also the dogs are perfect!

OMGGGG, amazing experience: I discovered several passions on which I will continue to invest myself at home. Rebe cooks so well you Will not believe it! The living environment is really pleasant: we work in the morning and in the afternoon we are free: beach, hammock, rummikube? I felt really good whether it was with Rob and Rebe, or the other volunteers. I'm shure i Will come back to the farm! (I just removed a star because the internet was not working very well, it's not the most important, but I really needed it) Bon voyage ♥️

Its a beautiful place surrounded by Nature. its close to the beach and Rebe is cooking amazing vegan/vegetarian food twice a day. the tasks are doable and you only work 4 hours a day. but its also flexible. you have to pay an amount of 30 dollars a day, wich is for food and accomandation. its worth it, when you wanna have a clean and safe space for your trip.

Had a great time at the eco village! It was possible to help with the tasks you found most interesting / most suitable according to your skills. We had a great time with the other volunteers and became really close during our 3 weeks here! Really enjoyed our evenings eating together and playing games :) Rebe taught us how to make tortillas and patacones and she made really good food! Keep in mind that it's pretty far from town so you will mostly hang out on the finca or at the beach during your free time.

Rebe & Rob, are a happy team, very committed to providing a great experience for guests. Rebe is an amazing cook – vegetarian food CAN be delicious & varied. She also gives fantastic yoga classes. Rob gave Spanish classes (better than Duolingo!). He also organized our not to be missed trip to Corcovado Nat'l Pk. I would recommend if you want to have fun learning new things, meet people from around the world, listen to good music and have a few laughs in a tranquil place with comfortable beds & clean facilities. Bring long socks for boots & resealable travel bags 4 cloths to keep them dry.

It has been an amazing experience, I felt like home away from home. Rebe she is a beautiful person, she has such a positive energy and she is caring, cheerful, kind, funny and genuine. She cooks 5 stars Michelin Vegan/Vegetarian/Healthy Food which I loved! She also an amazing yoga teacher! Rob, her husband, he's hilarious, you always gonna laugh when you are around him and you will never stop learning, he has an outstanding knowledge of many different subjects and he is such a patient and good teacher! Also the aerea it's magnificent! it's very wild and there are kilometres of wild beach!

Rob and Rebe are such kind people who put their heart and soul into the Finca and it shows. I had so much fun working on the turtle project, doing yoga and Spanish lessons, and going to the beach with other volunteers. The food was so so good and we all sat around the table for three meals a day, which really contributes to the community feel of the place. The work asked of volunteers is more than reasonable and most often fun, and you get to learn about sustenance farming in the jungle. Overall a great experience, highly recommended, and I'm excited to see how the Finca continues to grow!

I spent 3 weeks at the eco village and it was an amazing time. It was my first world packers experience and I could not have asked for a better host. Rob and Rebe are so dedicated to their volunteers and project which shows through everything from the accommodations, to work, to turtle project, and social events. The project was just outside of Drake Bay beside el Progreso. It is quite remote but allows you to get to know the locals and help out with the community. Rebes vegan cooking and yoga were AMAZING. Robs Spanish classes and knowledge of sustainability taught me so much. 10/10 time!
