Napoli itself is so special and beautiful, but living in this hostel made the experience even more unforgettable. The dynamic with the amazing staff and other volunteers feels very homey, the people create such a beautiful vibe and energy. I worked the night shift, in general it's easy, manageable, and quick tasks, in some occasions you deal with drunk guests so you need to learn to set boundaries respectfully. I'd choose this experience again without a doubt. I can't wait to come back to this city, and I'm leaving with my heart full of love from this città e persone veramente belle.

Excellent experience, it was my first one as volunteer and it was a really good one. I appreciate the work environment and the patient of the staff and hosts, they are intuitive tasks and they respect the work schedules; also ve a really good location in the center of the city. I truly would recommend this volunteer experience 👍❤️

My experience in the hostel was okay. the night shift is really tiring but the hours and tasks are respected. The only downfall was the bed bug situation which made it impossible to us to stay longer. We changed rooms many times and when we came back to the volunteer dorm, there were still bed bugs. The staff and other volunteers were great and the hostel is really well located in the city.

The hostel was a welcoming environment with lovely staff. Day shifts were easy and collaborative, but I had to speak up about scheduling. I was planned 5 days a week 9-16 with a 2h break, making it hard to explore Napoli. My first week I had no day off and once was scheduled 7 days in a row. After finding bedbugs in the volunteers' room, we had to switch rooms often and twice had nowhere to sleep. This was not considered in working hours. We ended up leaving early. the hostel could be great under better circumstances, but compassion and communication can definitely be improved. Feel free to DM me!

Hi Pascalle we’re sorry things felt that way. The bed bugs weren’t our fault, since were obviously brought here by another volunteer. We spent over €5,000 and 3 exhausting weeks to solve it. We could have asked you to leave and addressed the problem in a much easier way but we made a commitment to you and moved you all to private ensuite rooms, cancelling guests reservations, prioritizing volunteers' stay over profit. We truly cared, and did our best in a very hard situation. Regarding the 7shif

The platform does not allow me to write much, so I'll be straightforward: don't ever go there if you plan on staying in the tent. It's unbearable. Very bad conditions. You hear other people's AC during the whole night and the host doesn't show compassion about your lack of sleep. Me and the other volunteers left much earlier than expected, due to a bed bug infestation. The host kept moving us back and forth from the room, exposing us to unnecessary risk and tiring us with the lack of stability. Some of the staff were wonderful, so my stars go for them :)) Travelers: for more info, DM.

Dear Ariadne, the tent was offered to you since we had no other position available and you needed a last minute stay. You were perfectly informed with messages and videos of the accommodation. The only reason you moved was because we welcomed your request to switch to the volunteer room as soon as we had the chance. Unfortunately bed bugs were brought to the room by another volunteer and were obviously not our fault. As you know we addressed the problem immediately, moving you to a private ensui

Hostel is nice, pretty the hostel, loved the people working there, though the owners are not really welcoming(you get to watch videos,no one explain you in person what to do,they didn't really seem to like the volunteers in general) shifts are a little bit annoying(from 9am to 16pm)you have two hours break in between but too much for just a bed, also i had to work 7 days in a row without being alerted before.you basically just clean a lot and bring the trash out i left 2 weeks before planed because we had bedbugs and i just didn't enjoyed my time, it's not that bad but i've seen so much better.

Dear Evelyn, we have already addressed the bed bug problm in our review about your stay. We just want to clarify here that the only reason your ended up doing 7 shifts in a row was because your asked for a change of shifts over a 2 week period with specific consecutive days off. We never ask and strongly discourage our volunteers to work more than 5 days in a row, this only happenes exceptionally to accommodate volunteers need, never on our choice. Regarding videos, we find they are a useful to

The hostel is a charming, well-located hostel with a cozy the hostel and opportunities to meet people from around the world while practicing English and Italian. The managers are approachable and open to communication. However, night shifts can be challenging due to noisy, messy volunteer conditions and extended work hours. If you're sensitive to noise or need organized shared spaces, this might be tough. Overall, it's a valuable cultural experience—just be sure to clarify shift details and volunteer dynamics in advance. Napoli is beautiful and the location is at the heart of historic center!

I enjoyed my time as a volunteer at this hostel! The staff is AMAZING, specially Marcello <3 :D As of the work, I was assigned the night shift which took a toll on my body at times because I spent most of the daytime resting. I was assigned the night shift without having the chance to choose... The tasks for the night shift were light, and easy to do once learnt. It took me a moment to learn how to make coffee and the other beverages sold at the hostel. The only dislike was having to throw away the glass... Mamma mia...!!! It was overall, it was a great experience to have been a volunteer.

My time at the hostel was really great! The staff were so kind and patient, and the other volunteers were just so great to be with! The hostel is really beautiful, in a central but less noisy part of Napoli. The work is easy enough, I worked the day shift and would make sure the hostel and hostel were clean and tidy as well as make and serve tea and coffee to guests. One of the only issues is the sleeping arrangements. The volunteers sleep in a loft above a 10 bed dorm, which means we never really got 100% privacy from guests. I would definitely recommend volunteering here, lots of love xx
