Help me build the first ever wikihouse eco boat in central London

Ben is a good guy but he doesn't have the structure to receive volunteers. I was amazed about going to have a experience in a boat but wasn't not even close to what I imagined. No toilet, no shower, no place to laundry properly to runaway the weather of London and no bike to use. If those things were better…. Probably would be a good experience… the place needs to be more welcoming… clean, organize… so the volunteer can work properly! Everything is a lesson… so actually I am also grateful even leaving earlier.

Great experience so far! Ben is amazing he treats you like a friend and he's always down for a good meal together. The neighbours are great too, you can always find someone to talk to and the accessibility to public transport is right on point. We're DIY building here so expect a bit of physical work but you'll always have lots of free time to use as you want :)

Working and living on a boat was an incredible experience, thank you BEN for the way you welcomed us in your floating home, from the first moment you made us feel welcome and comfortable in your personal space, you not only gave us the opportunity to work and try English tea but also gave us the opportunity to meet a great host, chef and friend. He was always aware of our needs. The location is perfect to get to know London in your free time, working hours were respected and we did some tasks like removing the floor and cleaning because the boat was flooded, so we helped him rebuild

We had a wonderful experience fixing a boat that was flooded. Our host, Ben, was exceptional. He was always aware of our needs and he made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. He is also very funny and a good cook The work we did on the boat was very interesting and rewarding. We carry out some tasks such as disassembling, cleaning, painting and tiling the boat's floor and walls, restoring two wood-burning stoves, and plumbing, electricity and carpentry tasks, among others. Ben gave us the freedom to work at our own pace and he always respected the agreed working hours. Thanks

Ben is nice and welcoming, and always appreciated my work, he's quite a busy man so you I spent most of my time alone or with other volunteers. At first it can be hard to make friends in such a big city, but the people at the marina are quite friendly

Buena experiencia.
