Everything was so great! The area and the Lake is so pretty and I would definitely recommend hiking in the Mountains! The staff was so nice and the working hours were just as agreed and not too much work at all! I would love to visit everyone again! <3

This was a mind blowing experience, seriously! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Starting with the surroundings of the hostel, there's a big lake where you can visit another cities and also get in touch with nature. PS: if you love hiking, this is the best place EVER. Elisa, Valentina, Michaeli and the staff girls as well were so welcoming since day 1, I'll never forget ♡ The place is so cozy and comfy, nothing to complain about it. The workin hours are fair and u also have a lot of free time to explore. I'll miss hearing italian all day long 🥲🥲🥲 Hope to see u guys soon 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 Thanks for everything!

I loved my time at the hostel and after a few days I felt confident in conversing in Italian. The hosts are really nice and helpful and always willing to immerse you in the local culture. The great thing about Lovere is that there so many small beautiful villages around the lake and there's so much nature to be discovered. Most of the guests are Italians and German speakers (Germans, Austrians and Swiss) so you can practice both languages (more so Italian, of course). If you do end up coming here, you definitely have to take the boat trip to Monte Isola/around the lake. 10 out of 10.

I loved my time at the hostel. The hours are fair and they are very flexible about the day offs. There's a lot of free time to explore the area around the lake (which is very beautiful) and a lot of beautiful cities are doable as day trips. I get to work with amazing people and improve my Italian. The hosts are very welcoming and the room for volunteers is very nice. I feel that this is an amazing experience and would definitely recommend it ☺️

My time at OdelP was such a relaxing, enriching experience. Elisa & Valentina were welcoming, taking the time to get to know me and help me learn a bit about the local culture of Lovere. The town is quaint and charming, with other towns just a short walk or ferry ride away. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in the beautiful mountains, this is certainly the spot for you! A great opportunity to feel immersed in Italian life while also meeting some cyclists and hikers from nearby countries. The amenities are clean with great views, and the work (mostly housekeeping) was fair. Will miss ODP!

Volunteering at the hostel was a fantastic experience! Lovere is a charming small village, rich in history and an incredible atmosphere. Elisa and Valentina, the hosts, were very lovely and welcomed me warmly. I had the opportunity to develop my Italian significantly, and they were very helpful in assisting me. The work was super easy, the schedules were respected, and I had plenty of free time to explore the cities around Lake Iseo with the ferry. Thank you for this amazing weeks!

I had a great experience at the hostel, Valentina and Elisa are great hosts, super welcoming, they are always willing to help you guide you and arrange everything so that the schedule works for everyone. I learned a lot of Italian from them, and fell in love with the culture and the food of this beautiful country even more. Everything is well organized, the tasks are easy, the breakfast delicious and you get to work with really nice people. Thank you Elisa and Valentina for making my time there so enjoyable. A dopo!🤗

Working at the hostel was an absolute pleasure. Elisa and Valentina were always kind and went above and beyond to ensure I was enjoying my stay. They allowed me to continuously use my strengths in my role. On one occasion I had an allergic reaction to some bug bites and Elisa brought a full first aid kit and made sure that they got better. I am extremely grateful for this experience and learned so much about Italian culture and myself. I want to personally thank Elisa and Valentina for having me and making Lovere feel like a second home. I will never forget my stay at the hostel
