Ffi and Ollie are wonderful people I enjoyed sharing time and meals with! They made sure we had everything we could want/need to cook meals that inspired us including locally sourced organic produce and the most delicious tomatoes from their garden. I would recommend this experience to anyone who is flexible with work, enjoys common house hold chores and cooking, renovation work, gardening, good with dogs, hanging around babies and living in community!

My experience at Lodge was incredible; I can say that I have a new family in this beautiful place. They are loving and flexible with time. There is always work to be done, and they need help as the family is growing and renovating their space. I was blessed to celebrate my birthday here, and they decorated the place and gave me gifts.🥹 They respect your hours and never want you to do more than necessary. If you are looking for a natural place to connect with the earth and yourself, this is the place. 💖 Thank you so much, guys.✨

This experience was wonderful, it felt like finding a second home. The family welcomed us warmly, and they are flexible with the schedules, which is very convenient. There is always something to do, so if you are proactive, you will always find a way to help out. I recommend this experience if you love places surrounded by nature, as their beautiful home is nestled in it. It is not far from London, so you can be in the city center in a little over an hour by train. We would definitely return as they have become friends, and we hope to stay in touch always.

I had an amazing experience with Ffi, Ollie, Alffi and Hatti. They are such a caring and respectful family that were so welcoming from the beginning. This was my first worldpackers experience and I'm so grateful it was at the home! My tasks included laundry, cleaning, organising rooms, helping with the airbnbs on the property and gardening. Ffi and Ollie were really flexible with the work. The jobs were either discussed the afternoon before or in the morning and then it was up to us to fulfil our hours. Would definitely recommend! Hoping to return one day myself ❤️

My time at the home was amazing! It was our first Worldpackers experience so my partner and I were a little nervous but Ffi and Ollie were so welcoming to us both! They are very flexible if you wanted to work your hours in the morning and then have afternoon off or have a sleep in and work later during the day. We had the best time staying 2.5 weeks, we wished we could have stayed for longer! We hope to return in the future!! If you're a couple or friends travelling I can't recommend this place enough!

This is a great host and I really enjoyed every minute of it, highly recommend it if you are a serious traveler looking for a nice and varming lodge to work. Will cherrish my stay there for all my life and could not do anything more than to recommend it. Thank You!:)

Incredible experience with a beautiful family! A lovely lodge and the work was really fun. We learned a lot. The host family are very fun to be around and they really make sure you feel at home. The area is beautiful and you get the chance to meet local people in very fun way. Also you have bigger towns a short train ride away😁

If you are on the fence about signing up for this experience THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO DO IT! This was my first Worldpackers and I'm so happy I applied here. The most beautiful family and house it was a pleasure to stay here. They are super flexible, generous, and kind and genuinely care for those around them. Its mostly being outside planting, gardening, and weeding. It was so peaceful listening to a podcast/listening to music while planting (that was my fav part). They are super sustainable and we all have something to learn by this experience. Ffi, Ollie, Alfie and Hatty🤍 thank you

Me and my friend volunteered together. Ffi and Ollie were amazing hosts, we had everything to be comfortable from our own rooms, to food, to local recommendations, and more. We did a lot of weeding and cleaning the house and outside, as well as a bit of planting. the home is as environmentally conscious and sustainable as possible, so that was cool to learn about. They also have the cutest kid Alfie who I played with a lot and a dog and chickens roaming around. They were super understanding and fun to hang around, and we tried to be as helpful as possible. Would totally recommend.
