This experience was profound, in one week I accessed emotions that I didn't even know existed inside me, there were moments that I was afraid of the dogs, but both Anne and the other Volunteers made me feel safe and how tô adapt wiht the animals, they really are like a big family, When I thought about giving up, I watched Anne and saw her love overflowing for those animals and it pushed me to want to help more, then I gave in little by little and it transformed me, no matter where I was, I was surrounded by the love of those animals. Apart from the fact the nature is amazing.

If you're ready to get your hands dirty and put in some work to help out some caring people and lots of animals that desperately need the help, then this is the place for you!!! Anne truly cares about the animals and it's evident that she prioritizes their well-being and helping them in whatever way she can, even with limited resources. She really appreciates any and all help that volunteers can give and was sure to show her appreciation! This place totally needs the help so if you're looking to be surrounded by animals and want to help them, I definitely recommend volunteering here!

The experience was really great thanks to the host and the animals, that were truly amazing. Anne was always availabe, kind and really open to guarantee you experiences that were outside the work tasks. Caring for the animal and living around them was really rewarding and healing and you will be able to enjoy them fully during you stay. As a suggestion I would say to bring your own sleeping bag, the accomodation is handled with the limited funding that the host has so it is best to carry with you your own towels, sheets or sleeping bag.

3 ⭐ Because I was not satisfied with living in an unclean room and the food, be prepared for a minimum food budget for volunteers, also be prepared to see mice in the room, it is difficult to sleep in a room without headphones because you can hear dogs barking. For me, it was an experience of a lifetime, the work is not hard. If you don't have a car, be prepared for a long bus ride in zigzags. But thank you for accepting me and treating me well, the animals are very nice 🐕❤️thank you😇

Mi experiencia con Myrna y Paco fue inolvidable! Su hogar- refugio es un rincón lleno de belleza, amor y calma, donde perros y gatos te reciben como si siempre hubieras pertenecido allí. Vivir de cerca su labor y ser testigo de tanta entrega ha sido un regalo enorme. Ya los echo muchísimo de menos, a ellos y a cada peludo que forma parte de ese pequeño universo. Recomiendo esta experiencia con todo mi ser. No solo te toca el corazón, te lo transforma💓

Mi primera experiencia con worldpacker y no puedo estar más contenta. Myrna, Paco y todos sus animales han sido una segunda familia para mí estos días. Comprometidos con el bienestar animal y con muchas risas con anécdotas durante las comidas, ha sido un auténtico placer colaborar con ellos. Cabe destacar que soy vegetariana y Myrna tuvo el detalle de comprar carne vegana para mí🥰 La habitación muy cómoda y con unas vistas increíbles, el trabajo fácil de llevar y los animales super cariñosos. Recomiendo esta experiencia 100%. Ya echando de menos a todos (Paulina y Gorda especialmente)❤️

¡Me encantó mi estancia aquí! Trabajaba por unas horas cada mañana y si te encantan los animales, sin duda te divertirás y te enamorarás de todos ellos. Myrna es una mujer increíble y aunque siempre está muy ocupada con todo el trabajo que ella hace, intentó que mi tiempo como voluntaria fuera lo mejor posible, llevándome a viajes increíbles siempre que tenía tiempo. Ella y Paco eran muy amables desde el primer día. Les agradezco muchísimo el tiempo increíble que pasé, todos los animales tienen un lugar especial en mi corazón y definitivamente quiero volver aquí ❤️

Ha sido mi primer voluntario y no puedo estar más agradecida con mis anfitriones Mirna y Paco, son unas personas buenas de corazón. Recomiendo preguntar dudas. Ellos hacen la labor de recoger animales abandonados por algún tipo de desdicha y necesitan ayuda para sus cuidados. El trabajo es muy ameno y bonito estuve en contacto directo con los animalitos, limpiando sus lugares, dándole de comer y cuidando el entorno donde viven. La habitación era cómoda y con todo lo que pude necesitar y si no Mirna se encargaba que no faltara de nada ( es súper atenta). Volveré familia 🩵❤️

Trabajar por el bienestar de los animales que Myrna y Paco han acogido en su CASA REFUGIO, como mi primer voluntariado, fue una experiencia que nunca voy a olvidar. Todos los perros y los gatos están llenos de amor y cada uno tiene un lugar especial en mi corazón. Gracias por haberme recibido a mí también y por el montón de momentos felices. Su habitación representó un HOGAR LEJOS DEL HOGAR. Uno de los instantes más preciosos para mí fue la comida juntos, porque además de comer súper bien y reír mucho, constituyó un verdadero intercambio cultural. Esa fue solo la penúltima cena. ¡Nos vemos! 🌀

Pro: zona ideale per disconnettere, situazione famigliare, al contatto con la vita locale e con i cani, tutti buonissimi, momento della cena in cui si condividono storie dei propri paesi d'origine molto interessanti, sempre a disposizione lavatrice e cucina, lavoro semplice Contro: dovevo dormire in camera con un cane vecchiotto che poverino non poteva contenersi e faceva i suoi bisogni la notte, disturbandomi il sonno, e Mirna era molto occupata e non ci ha potuto mostrare un pò l'isola come mi aspettavo da altre recensioni lette, consiglio di avere un'auto In generale esperienza positiva!
