Loved my time and the people there! The region is immensely beautiful and there are lots of different things around to see (easier with a car, alternatively hitchhiking). Metka made me feel at home immediately and the work was very interesting! Sooo many different types of veggies 🌱 The dorms and shared bathroom needed some getting used to, but as most of the volunteers were fun to be around, it was less of a problem :))

This is my 4th experience with worldpackers and the best! I hold highly in my hearth Metka, Bogdan, Gregor, Perrine, all the team the kids and dogs. Everyone is really nice and friendly, the place is stunning, the food really yummy. Working hours always respected, we had plenty of food, plenty of nice work and talks. I love this place and recommend it to everyone !

Where to begin! Metka and Bogdan were amazing hosts, especially Metka who somehow manages to help on the farm and run a household, as well as assist us with whatever we required. I loved my time on the farm and met the most wonderful girls while there, and enjoyed my time spent with not only the other volunteers but Gregor aswell who was kind and lovely to chat with. The hours go quickly and we were greeted with a warm lunch from Metka everyday which accommodated everyone's needs. I couldn't recommend this more, definitely grateful to have had this as my first volunteer experience. Thankyou!

It was a great time on the farm! I met a lot of volunteers from different countries, so now I have many friends all over the world) I learned a lot about vegetables, some of which I didn't even know before. Thanks to Metka for the hospitality and for the opportunity to get acquainted with farm life)

My experience in the farm was amazing. The whole family and team is very welcoming. They are always ready to answer all questions about their job and lifestyle. Specifically Metka has an incredible energy and is always making sure you are having a good time. They're truly amazing. They respected the work hours. Sometimes it can be tiring, but you'll learn many things and have a great time there. The nature in general in Slovenia is beautiful, and the surroundings of the farm are no exception. The sunsets there are really worth seeing. For the weekends there are many places to visit nearby.

It was an absolutely incredible experience. The hosts are the most kind people, open-minded, thoughtful, respectful, transparent. I could learn about taking care of the environment, sustainable life style, conscious and "green" ways to grow crops and enjoy the nature around, admiring it mightiness. It was very impacting to feel part of a community, to work with my bare hands and feel physically tired but minded rewarded. Honestly, it is the perfect place to disconnect and da therapy for the soul. You just need to get involved, pimp the bubble of the comfortable zone and "let it go"!

For the first experience of volunteering I can just say that it was amazing! And all of that was because of Metka, at the working hours she was very serious and tought everything patiently and at the lunch time she was like a mom who prepared the food and told interesting stories. The rest time of the day we were free and could enjoy of being in the amazing natural environment of Gradisica and spend time with other volunteers from all over the world.

This was a great place to slow down and get to enjoy the quiet and nature in Slovenia! The host Metka was very kind and welcoming. The work was fair and working hours were never pushed longer. Metka was very understanding when I decided to do another volunteer in Slovenia, so the communication was great :) She cooked everyday day amazing food, this is probably my highlight. If you like nature, peace, and mountains, you will love staying there, totally recommend the experience. Thank you for everything!!

What an incredible place. Amazing people. Beautiful views. Physically hard work (in a good way). I only stayed for 12 days but I really enjoyed this place. It was my first ever volunteer experience and I had high expectations and this placed topped it! I want to thank everyone at the farm. Everyday there was amazing lunch with all the volunteers and the family. I thought this was a great idea. It made me feel welcome. I do want to mention the best way to get to the farm is by train to Kozina and then hitchhiking. Everyone at the farm hitchhiked and I only had good experiences:)
