I spent two months in this hostel and was my first experience like volunteering. I had a great time, with guests and volunteers. The hostel is really good and Everything is close by. The work was easygoing and only have to work for 4 days with 3 days off. Also the manager is so nice, always there if you need anything. Highly recommended :)

My experience at the hostel was exceptional! It was my first time undertaking such an experience alone and I felt welcomed from the first moment as if I were at home. The sweetness and helpfulness of Ilyas, the maganer, were from the first moment instrumental in making my volunteering beautiful. The facility is wonderful: big, bright, modern and welcoming. The other volunteers were also great and we always worked well together and with passion. I have met wonderful people and the location is really central and great: right in the heart of the city. I have no words to express my gratitude to

I spent 3 weeks at this hostel during Christmas and New Year's eve. That was a truly great first volunteering experience for me. Firstly, would like to outstand the host- Iliyas, who gave us tasks, supported when needed and was ready to all unexpected situations that might happen in the hostel. The tasks were pretty easy and with other volunteers were easy- manageable. The location is perfect - just in the middle of the old town. The only thing I would like to improve is the social life of the hostel, I would like to have events more often that gather together volunteers and guests. Thank you!

I had a very nice and chill time at the hostel. The work is easygoing and you only have to work 4 days a week. There are always 6-7 volunteers so you always have someone to do something with! The hostel itself is very modern and has a relaxed vibe. I would totally recommend this experience!!

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! It was quieter at first since it had just reopened and there were only a few of us, but as more volunteers and guests arrived, the atmosphere turned amazing—a real family vibe. Viktor, the manager, is super supportive, flexible with shifts, and gives a lot of freedom. The management and communication could use some improvement, and some installations weren't functioning properly with little attention given to them. However, I'd still highly recommend this hostel for volunteering!

Mostly a party hostel and the people are complaining about a lot of things. Poor leadership and dirty facilities.

To start with, I didn't ever work at the hostel but instead two of the other hostels they own called Columbus and Jungle. (I was not informed at all until I messaged the day prior, it seemed as if they were unaware I was coming). The work is simple and easy, mostly cleaning or doing laundry, sometimes a few other tasks but that was mainly it. It mainly is a bunch of volunteers running the hostels, there are managers but there only at the property in the morning until around 4PM. Each hostels atmosphere really differs, I'd definitely say they all need improvements. It just depends which you go 2

This review is for Columbus Rooftop Hostel. the hostel was not operational due to a flood. The cockroaches. Yes the island has a problem but I stayed in three other places on the island and it was not nearly as bad. No matter how much we cleaned they were all over the clean dishes and even inside the refrigerator. There were bed bugs in three of the guests rooms and by the end of my stay they had made their way to our room. Homeless people on multiple occasions were sneaking in The manager Zoe seemed nice but made no effort to even talk to the volunteers. Lack of direction completely

I recently completed a 6-week volunteering stint in the hostel, and overall, it was a positive and enriching experience. I had met some truly wonderful people as Viktor is. However, there were several challenges along the way. First, the showers downstairs were closed, and the kitchen sinks broke down, making everyday tasks more difficult. Shortly after, we were relocated to (Columbus) because the hostel was shut down for renovations due to widespread issues with the facilities. Following this, I was reassigned to the apartment team, which was quite demanding. However, I recommend the experience.

Thank you writing your honest review about our hostel Saci and I`m sorry that I ran out of time to write your review.

So I`ll do it here:

You are not just a great a volunteer, but a great actress as well how you could keep your patience in the most overwhelming situations with guests.

Your problem solving things are better than the manager sometimes. And I`m so sorry that you had to experience the bad side of the hostel world as well.

I am sorry about the relocation also, but It was for the better good I cannot accomodate you guys in a hostel without running water (Finally the situation is fixed)

So all I want to say is just be who you are. Be honest that`s what helps people and companies to improve and I cannot say enough thanks for saying the truth. You`re amazing and I`d like to have you back here when everything is fixed.

You still have an unfinished art here which is waiting for you haha (I`m really sad that we didn`t have the time here to finish it, the sketch looked amazing)

Lots of love to the hostel thanks to the volunteers I was withđź’• The tasks were not difficult and you end up having lots of free time. The manager asks what shifts you want at the beginning of each week and is always there to help if you need, but also let's you do your own thing too. The place is run by volunteers so it's really dependant if you have a good group. It's a very cute hostel but semi annoying thing to note is that the beach is a 15 minute bus ride away- but the buses run very often so it's not inconvenient.
