How the Volunteer Program Works

Volunteers support both education and project development while working closely with our Lao team. From Monday to Thursday, mornings (10am–12pm) focus on project tasks such as gardening, cleaning, maintenance, and communications. English classes run from 5pm–7pm, where volunteers teach or assist students aged 4/5–18, focusing on speaking and confidence.

On Fridays, volunteers support our Toastmasters-style public speaking program, helping students prepare and deliver speeches. Weekends are mostly free, with optional group activities. All volunteers receive orientation, teaching materials, and ongoing support. Full details are provided in the Volunteer PDF.
