I truly enjoyed my time at the farm. The work was pretty easy, although a little stinky when clean up after the animals, but hey, its a farm. My room was very nice. Laura is a good cook & her and Felipe are super friendly & very welcoming. Overall, easy work, good food, nice room and fun and friendly host, what more could you ask for?? Oh yea, its about a 10 minute walk to get to a bus to get to town (50 cents) I typically took a taxi back ($2.50) to get dropped off at the farm. In town yo find everything you need very inexpensive. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun farm experience

We had a wonderful first WorldPackers experience with the Morales family! They welcomed us into the family and included us in family activities like crossfit classes, parties, and jam making. Camilo was also great and super helpful in teaching us how to care for all the animals. We worked in the morning and had afternoons free to explore the nearby towns and mountains which was a great balance. We always enjoyed the meals together and will miss life on the farm. They were very patient with our lack of Spanish and we learned a lot during our time. Would recommend! Thank you family!!

My experience at “the farm” couldn't be better, the Morales Family and Don Camilo were amazing host, the tasks are so clear and they respected my free time! They made me feel like home since the first time, they invited me to their familiar events were I could learn and live more about the Ecuadorian traditions. I really enjoyed my time there, was my first experience working in a farm and I want to be back soon! Doña Laura is the most lovely host that I ever had, she always took care of me! I truly recommend this experience to everyone, the accommodation, the food, the environment 10/10

Laura, Felipe and their family welcomed me into regular life at the farm, treating me like one of the family. I was immediately invited to ride along for errands and join for outings. Laura and her daughter Mayerli helped me find a great hike on Mt Cusin, and Felipe joined me for a hike of Imbabura, supporting my acclimatization for Volcan Cayambe. The farm work is just the right amount of work during the morning hours and time for rest and/or digital nomad work in the afternoons. I enjoyed breakfasts and dinners together and loved my private brick house. I will miss the baby goats!

I had a really amazing time in that project. Laura and Felipe were so kind and I directly felt like home. The house/accommodation was really nice and comfortable. The working hours were perfect and the tasks were easy. Camilo, a worker on the farm, had always an answer for my questions and it was a really funny time with him! I can really recommend that place!!

Hey! I will write this review in English primarily for people travelling from outside Latin America. However I highly recommend being at least an intermediate in spanish, as the people you will be working, eating, and socializing with only speak Spanish. I found this to be a great opportunity to work and live a simple farm life. You will work 7am-12pm caring for the farm and taking the animals out to graze. You'll have the rest of the day for yourself. I found this to be a great opportunity to practice solitude, read, meditate, practice spanish. The Morales family is also very kind :)

Our experience in the farm was amazing! W Felipe and Laura are very welcoming and invited us to attend many local festivities while we were at the farm. They were also accommodating to all types of requests for food (my girlfriend is a vegetarian). They really helped us to feel at homw

It is a beautiful farm, everything is kept very small. During the day it is very warm when the sun shines. It is very cold at night. You learn a lot about the routine on a farm.

My experience with the Morales family was amazing, the language barrier proved difficult but it couldn't stop their ever present friendliness and kindness. The work is a great way to learn more about animal care and farm life in general, you are well taught and get to experience some beautiful scenery. In your free time you spent time with locals trying traditional Ecuadorian food or playing a variety of sports. My experience was nothing short of amazing. I want to say a big thank you to the Morales family, Camino and all the animals.
