Program Details

Helpers are expected to work about 20hrs a week in return for room and board. Help needed is Gardening, work in Greenhouses, Housekeeping, Cleaning, making beds, Laundry, Cooking. The work is all physical and this is a very outdoorsy athletic place, so big city people and office workers/ Gamers often don't fit in very well. I teach sustainability and permaculture so this is a learning experience and volunteers should be interested in learning.

Activities & Shift

Help needed varies with the season and abilities of volunteers but can be: Gardening (30-50%) preparing ground, transplanting, weeding, picking, watering etc. Helping with housekeeping tasks (70-50%) cleaning, laundry, making beds, cooking and even DIY projects.
I am partially disabled in one arm so I need help in all such activities.
Also conversing in Spanish if you "habla español" to help us learn Spanish better is also apriciated. Helpers are expected to help about 20hrs a week in return for accommodation and 3 meals a day.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
One of the highlights of the Worldpackers experience is the security. And we take that seriously. It is very important that all the conversations and confirmation steps are made through the Worldpackers' platform. By doing this, hosts and the travelers can review each other and get 24h support.
