This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was wonderful! 🥰 Liz is very welcoming and loves giving tips about the surrounding area! The hours are also extremely reasonable so there is plenty of time to explore the beautiful lakes and mountains. The work is mainly cleaning the Airbnb's, but you'll also learn a lot about working in a garden or conserving food (like making jam or pickles), which was really fun! I would definitely recommend this experience, and would love to come back! Also gonna miss the cats (Neiro and my special girl Fluffer 🥹) !

My experience at Liz's house was beautiful. I was able to learn a lot at her farm, continue to improve my English and enjoy both her hospitality and the hospitality of interlaken which is truly a beautiful place I made beautiful memories with fellow volunteers and with the work done I highly recommend this experience.

Liz is wonderful, she's so welcoming, always in a great mood, and loves chatting and giving tips on how to make the most of your time in Switzerland. The work is split between cleaning the flats and gardening, and everything is clearly explained and never complicated. Interlaken is absolutely charming, with plenty of leisure options, if you enjoy hiking, cycling, or paddleboarding, it's the perfect place. Switzerland truly feels like paradise, and this has been the best volunteer experience I've had so far. Liz, thank you so much for everything. I'll definitely be back soon! ❤️

Learning about gardening and the environment impact was truly rewarding, I will never forget what i lived here it was incredibly enjoyable and learning about Liz's experiences was so fun. I will try to keep replicating what I learned with her it was honestly an incredible experience.

I really enjoyed my time at this volunteering. I loved making meals with produce straight from the garden, and seeing how sustainable Liz lived was truly inspiring. The work was mostly cleaning and some garden work. Sometimes we did things that weren't on the schedule like cleaning her apartment or bbq. But overall the work was fair and we still had a lot of time to explore Switzerland! Having access to bikes was also amazing! I didn't like that Liz would make racist/ stereotypical remarks about tourists/ her bnb guest or different races/ cultures in general.

I had a lovely time in Bonigen. The work is mostly cleaning (3 airbnbs and liz's apt.) and some gardening. We had plenty of free time to explore the mountains and use the bikes. Everyone at the house was amazing and we got along well. Liz is an energetic person with lots of love for her garden, from whom you can learn a lot. She does have a tendency to make stereotypical comments about people from different cultures/countries (which can be a bit uncomfortable at times) & most communication is through whatsapp. (Due to some lack of planning I was send home 2 weeks earlier than the agreed date.)

My time with Liz was amazing! The work is mainly cleaning apartments but not hard work & not everyday. Other days we worked in the garden (picking, weeding) or cooking. We had so many days off to explore the mountains! It's only fair to mention there is a possibility of sleeping in the shed outside, the dorm is located in the cellar and the toilet/shower can only be reached when going outside first and this is in a shared space with washing machines/fridge/sink/storage& kitchen is outside, which was somewhat unpleasant. Overall I had the best time ever and Liz makes you feel at home!

My time working for Liz was truly unforgettable. Her home is located in the most beautiful location in the alps, and she truly welcomes you into it. She also provides you with all of the information you need to make the most of your stay. I learned so much about sustainable living, housekeeping, cooking, and gardening, while having an amazing time with Liz and the other volunteers. She really creates a family during your stay, and I feel truly lucky for my opportunity to get to know her and explore Interlaken :) thank you Liz! <3
