The experience

Help us save wildlife in sunny Costa Rica! Stay in our guesthouse and work in a lush tropical forest sanctuary. Help us promote our crucial work by capturing videos of internship participants engaged in various activities. Then help us create an engaging and effective strategy for attracting participantfor the programs. Includes an opportunity to help us at all three facilities in the Central Valley, Nicoya Peninsula, Playa San Josecito.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 395 Per day

Description: Cover food, housing, internet, and the conservation project donation

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

3 meals a day (self-preparing breakfast)
Restaurant catered food of your choice for lunch and dinner

Activities & Shift

You will assist us for roughly 35 hours per week but hours are negotiable. Our interns take trips to beaches, volcanos or national parks every week and if you go with them and film some videos, that is also considered work time.

Rules

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Fluent in English or Spanish.
Possess health insurance certificate.
Should be able to commit to a minimum of 1 month
Must have experience with social media and content creation
Must have equipment (good quality phone is acceptable) and ability to create and edit videos
