What can I say about what has been my home and my family during these last weeks ... It has been a fantastic experience, super comfortable and friendly guesthouse with great areas for relaxing moments and a fantastic terrace to chat and share experiences with other travelers while enjoying the sunset of Melaka. We have volunteered in family and it has been fantastic, Howard and his family have made us feel at home. The work has been very easy and fun. We recommend it 100%, if you want to have a fantastic experience come to the guest house !!

Howard and Jackeline made me feel welcome and part of the family from the moment I step in inside his guesthouse. I didn't feel it was a work at all, the task was very simple and enjoyable, we were lots of volunteers so it was very easy and not too demanding at all. I had my own room, we could borrow the bike, and free breakfast. The best place to volunteer ever :)

I had a wonderful stay at the guest house. It was my first experience at worldpackers and it was great. Howard is a very nice person and he knows how to run história business. He does his job very well, leaving volunteers and hosts very confortable. I travelled with my husband and he made us feel at home, worried about our confort, and pleased us with memorable dinners and barbacue. We could work and have free time enough to explore the city. The job was easy, relaxed because the house has a good atmosphere. It was such a great experience, we loved it. Tks to the hosts!!! :)

Helping out at the guest house was a great experience. It was my first time working in a guesthouse and I learned a lot. I had a really good time there. Howard is a wonderful host who takes very good care of his volunteers. The guesthouse itself is a lovely place to stay. You can bike around with guests and explore the beautiful town Melaka together. If you like, you canalso organize BBQs for them. the guest house place is also a guesthouse for cyclists. You will meet a lot of very interesting travelers and hear many impressing travel stories. I liked it a lot!

Had an amazing time for my first worldpacker experience. Since the first day i felt so warmly welcomed and in the 3 weeks i have been there it felt like home and family. Howard is the best, he always make sure you're okay. I had the chance to learn how to ride a bike (thanks to the guests who really pushed me to try). Miss the place already. Hope to see you all again soon.

Great place to stay in Melaka, Malaysia. Howard is a perfect host, really friendly and honest, always talking and helping everybody. It's a backpackers hostel and guesthouse filled with bikes and awesome travelers. Also, here you'll find a laid-back and easy going atmosphere, hot weather and great food courts!

Mi experiencia en la casa ha sido estupenda. Las tareas son tal y como se detallan en la explicación y no se hace pesado. Son turnos de 4,5 horas y te dan flexibilidad en los turnos. Es una ciudad agradable y con encanto y con mucho turismo por lo que te da la oportunidad de conocer a otros viajeros internacionales. Howard y Mike son cercanos y están siempre disponibles para ayudarte. ¡Gracias por estos 15 días!

Me encantó la experiencia, estuve dos semanas. Todos fueron súper amables, me divertí muchísimo, pude conocer bastante sobre la cultura local y conocí personas de todo el mundo. Por supuesto, destacar al anfitrión que es un amor de persona, súper atento y respetuoso junto a su familia.

A experiência foi boa, os outros voluntários que estavam comigo eram simplesmente incríveis, vivemos momentos muito bons juntos. Malaca também me surpreendeu, é uma cidade histórica muito linda e diferente. O trabalho no hostel é simples e fácil de realizar e cada um tinha um quarto individual o que nos dava privacidade também. No geral, uma experiência agradável.
