I had a wonderful time during my stay at the hostel. Nelson, the main host, is a great person who knows how to make volunteers feel at home. Cabarete is a wonderful place, I had the opportunity to meet lots of people. Activities ( beach, kite, surf) and nightlife is 100 % worth it. the hostel is a house steeped in history, located on a very safe street.

Being at the hostel was literally a home away from home. From the very first day, I felt like I was part of the daily life at the hostel, which is just a big, chaotic family. The permanent residents at the hostel include you from day one, showing you around what is the prettiest little town centered around water sports, and sharing their life with you. The tasks vary daily, with great flexibility to accommodate the volunteer's schedule. The immersion in the culture is unmatched, especially if speaking Spanish - you will literally feel like you have grown up there. cannot wait to go back :)

Very good experience, my sister and I will keep very good memories. Perfect if you like to party and meet people from all over the world. Simple work. Clean and welcoming hotel. Nelson is very cool (except in the morning :)).

Great Experience, Cabarete is a nice beach/surf town, with good food, and a few options for night life. I came in a low season week to the hostel, so not much to do business side. Nelson was great all the time with the information and making me feel home, The hostel is on Gated Community, which makes it really safe and a bit secluded, Internet was fine and the place was quiet for Remote Working. I'd recommend this place

The hostel was a wonderful experience. The work was easy and you have a lot of time to explore the beaches or different places. The people and the other volunteers were so amazing and welcoming, we had a lot of fun. I hope I can return to the hostel one day and see them again!!🤩 (If you like shots you should try fireball it's amazing. Thank you Nelson😛)

I liked being in Nelson and ezz team in March. There were also two girls from Germany and a girl from Poland, we had a common room. There are no more than 4 volunteers needed at one time, we worked relaxed and easily. We did not have difficult tasks, and we spent a lot of free time as we wanted, we had a kitchen where we cooked, there was a pool.Nelson called sometimes on the basis of a party and a walk in the evening, a little far to go to the beach, 25 minutes on foot. But this is not a problem, the hotel is in normal condition. It is an old place, But it has its own atmosphere.Good all !!!!!!

The hostel was a very nice experience. It's a relaxing place but also not far away from all the fun and beaches of Cabarete. The host was really welcoming and also showed me some amazing places around. I wish I had received more tasks about reception and administration but other than that the rest of the work was really chill and flexible. I had a good time!

I had a good time at the hostel. The place was very quiet and the people were lovely. Cabarete is wonderful for surfing at Playa Encuentro or going out to one of the many bars and restaurants. The hostel is not in it's best condition so I recommend to be prepared for a powercut, running out of both drinking and regular(or at times brown) water. Work was minimal but therefore contributed to having a good time. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for an easygoing, free for all place to stay with enough time to pursue your own interests.

The hostel needs a lot of work. The host Nelson is a great guy but the communication was not very good at times. Checking in a guest was very difficult because it was just me and I was't given any information on rooms/prices. It was low season in September so nice to have a lot of time to enjoy outside. The hostel has a lot of water issues with brown water and sometimes none at all. There's a huge ant problem especially in the kitchen. I would bring up things the hostel needed like soap, cleaner, napkins, trash bags etc but nothing was ever done about that. Overall, great place to meet locals

The people are really nice we felt welcomed the hostel it self is a little run down you'll be living bugs and limited power because it often went out. I wasn't expecting that. I enjoyed my time u just wish I'd been more aware of the conditions.
