A place like no other. The most comfortable in Korea I think. Spacious room, food, cozy common area and 3 days off per week and the shift ends in the early afternoon perfect for visiting Jeju in the best conditions. We are a small team, but very close-knit. I had good times at Bricks Stay. Thank you very much Q for trusting me.

We really had a good time at Bricks stay ! We were in a room of 3 with an other staff member, we had a lot of space. The work was as mentioned in the description. Everything went well during our 1 month stay ^^

The overall experience was really nice! I enjoyed staying at the hostel alot since the work was really easy and usually never exceeded 3 hours. With the overlookable work amount you have enough time to explore and enjoy every little corner of the Island. So if you're searching for a budget friendly way to travel through Jeju this is a great option!

Staying at Bricks Stay Hostel is a great opportunity to meet other international travelers, exchange experiences and learn about each other's cultures. At the same time the Host is really friendly and always after everything working out for everyone. You can also approach him with problems if you should have any. Lastly, the Hostel is located in a pretty good location near Jeju-City, so can travel to most places on the Island fairly easily by bus.

We worked 1-3 hours per day, 4 days a week - very reasonable! giving plenty of time to explore the island and the city. For 7 volunteers, we get a prepaid card with ~150 000 won filled weekly, which was used for getting food at the supermarket ; that's about ~22 000 won per person per week ; unlimited rice and ramyeon as well. The host was kind and accommodating. Downsides: - We met the host only during worktime, so cultural exchange was very limited - The cleaning standards are unhygienic for guests (no soap product on toilet seat + bedsheets rarely change between guests)

I came for 2 months and I will be here for a few more because I fell in love with Jeju. Tangerine trees, dolphins, deer, horses, Olle trail, Hallasan, night markets, surfing, swimming, climbing, sightseeing, you can do so many things here without the overcrowded life from the big cities. Bricks and Lofy are located in central areas so you can also go shopping, partying, to restaurants or cafes. The work is easy, short, and you have 3 free days a week. It never took us 3 full hours to finish cleaning. I had lots of fun with both Koreans and foreign volunteers.

Amazing experience the work was very easy to follow, the host is lovely and hardworking. He is flexible and understanding of peoples schedules and also provides more than enough food for us to cook with. I met so many new people and got to practice my Korean while exploring the beautiful nature of jeju. The staff all hung out all the time and the host was constantly buying us dinners and drinks. I thank god for this life changing work experience.

Staying at Lofy House was so fun! Most of the staff is Korean, so the experience is great for practicing and familiarizing yourself with the Korean language. Everybody is super nice and welcoming, and Q is super generous with the groceries and food that he provides! I was one of two of the only foreigners for the first half of my stay and my lack of Korean skills made socializing more difficult, but being in Korea, that is expected. The work is super easy, and you finish way earlier than expected most days, so there is plenty of time to explore the island!!

Our stay at Lofy house was a truly authentic experience where we were able to fully collaborate and learn from Korean Natives. It definitely came with surprises with the accommodations change yet Q was honest and welcoming throughout the entire process. The Korean staff we worked alongside made each day fun and relaxing shout out to Yohan. Lastly, The location is perfect right next to Black Pork Street and a Great Night Market.

It was my first experience volunteering and it was quite challenging. I worked here with Korean people and it is really nice to be immersed into the culture but hard to be integrated due to language barrier. If you speak Korean it's perfect to improve your language! The work is very easy, just 2 or 3 hours per day for 4 days in a week so you can have 3 days free to visit this beautiful island. The rooms provided were nice and confortable.
