This was my first worldpacker experience and couldn't have asked for better. Q is an amazing host! He is flexible, communicates well and gave us recommendations to see. The work itself is not hard. Whenever I had a question, Q would reply very fast. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, enjoy nature and take a break...I definitely recommend Brickstay!

I had such a great time volunteering at Bricks! Q is a lovely host and he texts you back immediately every time you message him. The hotel is big but it's 3/4 volunteers working at the same time so usually the work can be done in 2 hours max. The tasks are also very easy. It's in the main city but it's very well connected to the other parts of the island by bus so it was easy to visit around. I met amazing people over there and we visit together beautiful places around the island.

Jeju island is a beautiful place to stay, the tasks are not difficult and you have plenty of time to relax and explore the place. The rooms are comfortable to stay and the host is a nice and kind person :)

I had an amazing time at the hostel ! The work is easy and the balance between work and free time (3 days off a week, 4 if you do laundry rounds) is more than fair. I got plenty of time to explore the beautiful Jeju Island, even kn working days. It is also easy to connect with the other volunteers. The rooms are cosy and you only share between 3 people. You also have money for the group at the beginning of the week to do grocery shopping. If you want to discover Jeju and connect with other travellers, I recommend this experience 100% !

My experience at the hostel was great. Work is fair, the room is big and cosy (only 3 people per room) and you get a common budget each week for the team to make groceries, so you save a lot of money on food. Also you get a lot of days-off (3 days-off/week). If you're in charge of the laundry, you get 4 days-off per week, sometimes in a row!Which is great to explore the island. Jeju is a very beautiful island. If you have the opportunity, I would recommend to rent a car for a few days so you can explore more, because it can take some time to reach some places with buses. Great place! Thx 😊👍

Staying here makes me feel so comfortable with my roommates and team crews! Working hour is not that a lot, meaning that you get to explore more in Jeju. The host speaks fluent Japanese and English so we chatted with joy!

I stayed at Bricks Stay for a month in June and I would absolutely come back! The work is exactly as described, just 1-2hours a day 3 to 4 days a week, depending on how busy the hostel is. You have plenty of time to either relax or explore the city and the island. You share a room with ~2 people, though there is one private room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. Q is super chill and tries to distribute shifts equally and personal requests for certain tasks are also taken into account when asked. I had a great time with fun people and I'd definitely come back!
