Enjoyed my time here with the dogs and everyone. Be prepared to work hard, but all the dogs are super friendly and you get lots of interaction with them so it's totally worth it. Instructions and timetable are nice and clear and you still have plenty of free time. The hotel you stay in is also nice, as are the team. Highly recommend!

Volunteering at the shelter was truly amazing! All the people were so lovely and friendly! I really enjoyed working with the dogs. The work is pretty hard but the love you get from all the dogs is so nice ☺️ I would defenitely recommend volunteering at the shelter!!

When we first arrived at the hotel where we stayed with the volunteers of the shelter, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts and the volunteers (and the dogs). Working in the shelter is so much fun and you feel really loved by all the dogs! The dogs really loved the people around them and the attention they got from everybody. We really liked and recommended this place to everyone who love working with dogs or want to adopt a dog. We are going to miss all the dogs, the hosts and the people we've met.

I loved my time at the shelter! The work is definitely hard but very rewarding knowing you're supporting their amazing cause. The hostel is quiet and nice and the town is small and charming. Don't forget to bring clothes you don't plan on bringing home!

The hosts made me feel very welcome. In the project I spent a lot of time with the dogs, you go for a walk with them, pet them and clean their places. I also had a great experience with the international volunteers. On my stay I had the chance to practice my English a lot, I hadn't had a lot of possibilities to practice Spanish though

I had a great time volunteering here! You will grow a connection to the dogs over time and you will meet many great people with your time here. I also was given the opportunity to help grow in my leadership skills which was an added bonus. You need to be prepared to work hard as you will be cleaning dog cages and walking multiple dogs during your shift. I absolutely recommend volunteering here.

Una experiencia increïble! El trabajo es duro, y uno tiene que estar dispuesto a ensuciarse las manos y cansarse físicamente, pero vale toda la pena. Kishor y Jessica son unos anfitriones muy cuidadosos, atentos y presentes (y preparan los mejores almuerzos!). Cada perro es un mundo pero cada uno de ellos se merece todo el amor del mundo, es un proyecto extremadamente bonito.

Increíble experiencia en el refugio. Para cualquier voluntario que este pensando en hacerlo, el trabajo es exigente, sin embargo por el proyecto y especialmente, por los perritos, vale 100% la pena. Jessica y Kishor son anfitriones excelentes, atentos y muy hospitalarios. Muchas gracias a ambos por todo!

Nuestra experiencia en el refugio fue muy linda. Trabajamos duro, y así mismo recibimos la recompensa del amor de todos los perros con los que compartimos durante 2 semanas. Los líderes de la fundación fueron muy amables, y compartir con el resto de voluntario también hizo nuestra estadía muy amena. Voluntariado 100% recomendado si estás dispuesto a tener un impacto en la vida de muchos perritos, y si quieres explorar las montañas alrededor de Carhuaz.
