Activities & Shift

During fall/winter period we do the preparation for the spring/summer
Mainly we prepare the soil using different techniques (laying the compost we prepared to all the trees roughly 700 pcs, irrigating with prepared active microorganisms, covering the soil around the trees and plants with chips from the branches we prune and hay, green lubrication of the soil etc. This means there is quite a time-consuming activity. Then we start preparing the compost for next year making bio charcoal, collecting organic matter from neighboring farms plus manure etc.
Pruning of the trees start early March.
During winter period we take care of the aromatic herbs (pruning, clearing the area from weeds etc)
We do the maintenance of the irrigation lines (some we change, some we rearrange etc) and we check the proper flows for each and every tree & plant.

Rules

During your activity days, the supervisor of the farm gives you instructions and guides you how to perform the help. It is required to closely coordinate and follow the instructions.
