My time with Umit at the farm was great. The day started with a tee and after we prepare the food for the farm. We repaired the roof, built up a railing, repaired some small thinks and picked Olives . Umit is a great Cook i enjoyed it realy much. We cooked toghether and eat together every day. It was a cool first experience as Volunteer. Thanks a lot! Cheers Silvio

Sharing time with Umit is very pleasant. He cooks very well and quite healthy. He always complied with the 3 meals and they were hearty. He also took care that the work time was not so exhausting. There were days of heavy work, but others quite relaxing. The best thing is to do the work early in the morning so as not to suffer the summer heat. In the room there is a small fan that helps to cool down a bit. The bathroom is private, only the shower is shared. It has chickens, 3 super loving dogs and lots of the farm that are taken out to eat in the fields. Visiting Foça is very easy and beautiful.

What an amazing an life- changing time. The farm is in a very peaceful location but also very close to the coast, beach and seaside towns. We were able to explore so much as Umit was very flexible with our the hours. The work really brings you back to nature. From having your hands in the soil, to cooking, cleaning and gardening. I learnt so much practical knowledge here and am forever grateful. Umit, or now Abi (Turkish older brother) is truly a compassionate and caring man. He accepted me with open arms and we have shared some many laughs together. Come and enjoy this opportunity.

For someone looking to get in touch with nature while expanding their skills; Umit's place is the perfect opportunity. A beautiful cozy farm located in the breathtaking town of Foça! Literally everyone is helpful and friendly there, I felt at home all the time , the work wasn't too hard though it took me few days to build some outdoors skills, nothing particularly too demanding and so much to learn , food was great and all that you might need there is adequately provided. Its been my pleasure working with Umit.

Umit was the most amazing host and made this experience so special. He is so kind the farm wonderful cook too. The work was fair, some days harder than others but some days were lighter too. Umit showed us the town and nearby farmers markets as well as introducing us to his friends and family. His place was clean and truly a joy to stay in. For those looking to connect with nature and unplug, this is the right experience. I will never forget the truly wonderful time we had with Umit on his farm.

Our stay with Umit was home away from home. He made us feel like family during our stay in Foça. He took us to the local farmers markets, and we had great fun preparing delicious meals and sharing conversations with him. Umit is managing his home alone, so he really needs a lot of help on his 10 acre farm. There is always work to do, and the work is not always easy. However, Umit balances the workload so that some days are easier work. I 100% recommend this experience for hard workers, and those who have appreciation for the fruits of their labor. Hopefully we will visit Umit again someday!

Una experiencia genial. Umit es una persona muy atenta y con la que realmente da gusto convivir. Se preocupó mucho por que estuviéramos bien en todo momento y el trabajo no era especialmente duro lo que nos permitió tener tiempo para nosotros.

Só temos a agradecer pela oportunidade que Umit nos deu, mesmo sendo um pouco mais difícil pelo fato da gente não falar quase nada de inglês. Os trabalhos foram muito tranquilos e amamos participar da colheita de azeitonas e ainda acompanhar o processo de produção de azeite. O ônibus para Eski Foça (praia) passa à 600 metros e a gente ia muito lá. Umit é muito legal e com certeza, uma ótima oportunidade para quem fala inglês bater bons papos. Umit nosso muito obrigado pela oportunidade e esperamos que tenha apreciado nossa colaboração e que possamos retornar futuramente 💞
