In general, it was a very good experience. But the beds were horrible and we all had strong back pain. Some people even sleep on the floor. 3 meals are not really provided. It is just raw rice, instant ramen and eggs. You need to buy the other food by yourself. And eating healthy is very expensive in Korea! The students are really nice and friendly but sometimes it's hard to talk to them for an hour. Working hours were amazing, just in the evening. All in all I would recommend this host if you're comfortable with bad beds and „three meals a day“. the host is cool and Seoul is also near!

Oscar was great, the schedule is comfortable and the location of the apartment is great. It was great to meet with the locals and the work was fun and more than fair. The food that you get is very basic and some of the beds need to be fixed but i will definitely recommend on this experience.

Teaching at the language studio was truly fun. I got to meet not only new international people but also many natives with a different age, occupation or story. The social interactions were truly worth the experience. When it comes to the living situation I only gotta say: be prepared. The bed situation is a problem that should be worked on😅 otherwise it could have been a bit cleaner sometimes. Doing this temporarily was okay. But nevertheless was the communication with Oskar very good. He always responded and helped us when we needed something. He's definitely a very friendly and funny guy.

My time at the Language Studio the host was truly a special opportunity to experience Korea! The work was easy (usually only around 2h a day) and the students were nice. It takes around 1h to get to Seoul, so daytrips are easy to do :) Aside from Seoul itself, my highlight during this trip were definitely the fellow volunteers!! I immeadietly felt welcome and was able to build beautiful friendships during my time there :) The only downside to this experience is the accommodation, which has truly seen better days. The beds are in terrible condition and have been a problem for months now.

Overall great experience, having conversations with locals at the host was a very rewarding, low-maintenance job. The accommodation is very conveniently situated, both close to the host and to the subway station. Oscar only requires that you be punctual, and recycle your waste properly.

The work, coworkers, and location were all amazing. The only real issue was the accommodation, which had broken beds, a really weak AC, and a faulty shower door. Despite that, I'd highly recommend it to any extrovert who loves meeting new people :)

This is a great experience, we stayed for 6 weeks and really enjoyed the work - we got the chance to meet and interact with local people and were able to share parts of our culture! I would recommend however the apartment that is provided can be cramped if fully booked, and the AC currently isn't working

I was there for a very short time, only 4 days, but Oscar was a very kind and understanding host! I left due to personal reasons and he was very understanding with me and willing to work with me to adjust dates. All the other travelers were nice as well and welcomed me as I came in ^^

It was about an hour away from seoul but if you don't mind commuting then it shouldn't be a problem. The biggest issue was the beds. The mattresses are thin and the bars poke at your body, the creak a lot, and its held together by zip ties. Other than that the nearby area has good cafés, restaurants, and shops.

Really cool experience and you meet so many locals at the host and and learn alot about Korean culture. Oscar the host is friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient to public transport and nearby some nice parks. If you are wanting to explore central Seoul alot note that it is approx 1 to 1.5 hours on the train to central seoul. But the host also has plenty locally to experience. Thanks Oscar!
