Anders is a very friendly and kind person, and he knows a lot so conversation was always interesting! I was the only volunteer most of my time at Ramsjö Gård, so my experience was very calm. I spent a lot of time cutting fire wood and harvesting some vegetables like carrots and potatoes, as well as keeping the fire going to keep the buildings warm. The work was 6 days a week 8am to 2pm, with a late lunch. All necessary food and fresh vegetables is available in the kitchen. Make sure to take a book or some kind of entertainment if you'll be there alone!

I had a special and also beautiful time here at the farm. I'm happy I chose to come here in winter. I really enjoyed the cold winter times here with all the snow. And also keeping the fire going throughout the day was something I loved. Something I want to mention though, is that if you get lonely easily I recommend to make sure there are other volunteers at the time you're coming. But if you like spending time by yourself this won't be a problem. Even though I had to leave a little earlier than expected, I am still very grateful to have got this experience.

The experience was amazing, although I was the only volunteer working there. I could learn many farming skills, cooking and daily-life things. The host enjoys teaching and I was constantly doing diferent activities around the place, I found it comfy and calm.

My month at beautiful Ramsjö Gård has passed in what has felt like a week. I learned a lot about CSA and vegetable farming, wood work, cooking & baking and how to live together in a community that respects and cares for each other. The genuine kindness of the other volunteers has allowed us to share some of the most fun, interesting and memorable conversations and moments. The surroundings (especially the forest and lake) are incredible - makes you want to go out and explore even in -18 degrees. Tack Anders, for welcoming people to your farm and sharing your knowledge! See you some day ^^

Anders is a great host, since the beginning he was really nice and communicative. Working and contributing in the farm has been one of the best experiences I've had. I reconnected with the earth and with the others volunteers as well. I enjoyed cooking with fresh vegetables and loved the pizza days. The working hours pass by really fast and you end up wanting to work more, or going to water the plants. The farm is very well situated, close to a river, a lake, Uppsala and Stockholm, which is very practical when having a free day. I totally recommend Anders' farm and I would love to come back.

Ramsjögard was a nice place for my first experience on a farm, i've spend a great time here. Still in November many things to do and the tasks were manageable once you get used to it. I learned about working with vegetables, sustainability and self-sufficiency. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I can recommend this place, Anders is a friendly and passionate host. :)

It was my first experience with Worldpackers and I'm happy about how it went. I can recommend the farm! I honestly didn't expect farm work to be as exhausting but that's just because I never did it before probably also because it's pretty cold in November. It was fun though: learning about sustainable farming , living and laughing with other volunteers , … Also the working hours are fine. Anders is kind and fun and he's so passionate. You can learn a lot from him! The house is like it's said already old and I needed to get used to it. Feel free to message for more details :)

The farm is such a beautiful place! The working hours are good, so you still have enough free time for yourself or spending it with the other volunteers. Anders is so nice and open minded. I felt really safe at the farm.
