The project experience was absolutely beautiful. Alba is an incredible and hardworking woman who is very knowledgeable and educated in all things sustainability, permaculture, community + jungle living. The farm is disconnected from wifi which allowed for an eye opening digital detox and the nature immersion is amazing. I loved being able to use my hands and work towards sustainable growth and purpose with a community. It is a great place to meet other fellow travellers and enjoy the beauty of the towns, cultures and natural food. Thank you Alba!! I would highly recommend to anyone.

First thing that comes to my mind when trying to describe my time at the finca definitely is: too short! I tried not to expect anything from my first volunteering, but expectations were exceeded anyways - I felt safe, welcomed and respected from the moment Alba picked me up from the bus and at home from my very first night at the farm - it's mindblowing to witness what she built up there in the mountains and how she's making it all work, and it is a priviledge to live there with her, her bebesita and the dogs; Alba, thank you so much for your kindness, your teachings & your wisdoms! <3

I had the best two weeks at the project. I learned a lot about agriculture, cooking in rural surroundings and about the culture. It was eye opening to see how everything is done so self sustaining. We made food from the farm or from other locals and all the waste was the divided. We made fire with all the wood that isn't used. It is located in the middle of the jungle close to a beautiful river. To have wifi you need to walk for about ten minutes to a friend of Alba. She also provides really nice food. I really liked it to be disconnected and totally enjoy nature. Thanks Alba

This was an amazing experience at the project. Alba is a women with so much power. I felt very welcomed in the beginning and along my stay it got even deeper. Alba has so much knowledge and I will take a lot of this home for my future. If you're interested in gardening an learning about sustainabilty, environment and permaculture I really reccomend you to stay at this finca! ♥️ Alba, thank you very much. You are a godess.

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I absolutely loved it. Alba is very educational and easy going host. Life on the farm was secluded yet accessible to lots of different activities. The work is perfectly do-able for anyone, the food & coffee is great ;). Would definitely recommend x

I had really high expectations based on the photos and the reviews and these expectations were more than exceeded. There is nothing I didn't like about this magical place and the work/live there. Alba is a truly inspiring personality and is managing this great project perfectly. I learned a lot and had a great time. A big thank you for letting me be part of the development of the farm.

I've been 3 weeks on the farm and it was truly an amazing experience. I've seen wonderful nature and had the chance to live the simple life at its fullest. I learned a lot about permaculture, which is a topic I've never been in contact before, and also earned some knowledge about what really matters in life. I'm very thankful and happy that I chose this farm for my first volunteer work. And big thanks to Alba for having me.🙏🏽

My 3 weeks at the project were nothing short of magical. Alba is a charming, brilliant, and very strong individual. Participating in this project was rewarding, eye-opening, and so memorable. I am forever grateful to this special place in the mountains and all the amazing opportunities around it. It is the perfect place to learn about yourself and your relationship to nature. I have nothing but love for this place! It was magical. The Finca, Alba, her little bebesita and my volunteer group was just amazing. I learned so much while working on this Farm: improving my fire and cooking skills while using typical Costa Rican food, harvest beans, yuca, bananas, making steps and stakes and Albas knowhow in general was something i will never forget. I learned a lot about permaculture and sustanability. Being in contact with nature and yourself is truly an AMAZING experience i absolutely recommend! On top is Alba one of the most inspiring persons i've ever met! Only Love 💘

Really enjoyed my time here, it was a fantastic experience. I learned a lot about nature and how it all works together. Alba also a has a great knowledge of permaculture something I was unfamiliar with before coming to the farm.
