The week flew by too fast! Getting to experience the Amazon and learn about the projects in place really got me energized to dream big for what's possible. Diego is such an attentive listener and really makes sure the volunteer experience is educational and balanced with experiencing the local environment and working in the gardens. I certainly left with the knowledge to start my own eco project and a good friend! I recommend this place so much :)

One of the best weeks of my life, can't recommend Lis and Diego enough! They are truly some of the most hardworking, kind, and inspiring souls I've ever met. Their attitude and energy to everything was way beyond our expectations and they treated us like family. The work was very fulfilling and the activities and rituals were so instrumental to shaping honestly our lives!! If you want: -The awesomest hosts to ever grace the earth -Hard yet fulfilling work -Be a part of something bigger than yourself -Learn about yourself -Best dogs ever What are you waiting for?

Staying with Liz and Diego at the community was the best experience of my life. This was my 1st WorldPackers, & it was life-changing & magical. Liz & Diego (& their parents & dogs) were incredibly welcoming, and they truly felt like family. They were so willing to share their home and culture with us and taught us so much about the rainforest, sustainability, indigenous culture, Ecuadorian life, & myself. Liz was so kind to share her spiritual experiences & ceremonies with us, including a cocoa ceremony & new moon ceremony. She felt like my sister, mentor, therapist, and friend all in one. ❤️

My experience at the community was truly incredible and life-changing!! The hosts, Lis and Diego, were super caring and treated the volunteers like family! They are fun, thoughtful, and always organized exciting activities for us to do after work! They seriously respect and understand the importance of educating people about protecting the environment and learning about Ecuador's indigenous communities. I will never forget the impact the community has had on my life. I learned so much about the Earth, cultures, and myself!

I learned so much from Lis and Diego in the past few days. It was so impressive to see how they truly love the nature and are so passionate about what they do. We usually work 8am-12pm, and for the afternoons, they'd kindly arrange fun activities to make sure you have a good time here. We went to a waterfall, a river, did yoga and jungle trekking. I felt so immersed in the nature and didn't feel bored even without internet. Their project is totally self-financed, so it totally makes sense to pay some fees to help cover your expenses. It was indeed a beautiful experience. Highly recommend!
