This was my first experience volunteering in a hostel and it couldn't have been better! I had an amazing time at the hostel, I've always felt welcomed and I had the chance to meet and work with incredible people from all over the world. The shifts are really easy and you have a lot of free time to explore the city. Jake, the manager, is an amazing person, always ready to help and open minded. Also, the location is wonderful since it's right in the city centre and the hostel's vibes are cozy and friendly. I loved my stay at the hostel, I'll come back for sure!

Volunteering at the hostel was a fantastic experience, this wee and cozy hostel is ideal for anyone who is looking to have a fun and chill time. Jake, the host, is absolutely friendly, warm, and genuine, he will make sure that you're having a nice stay, the tasks you do vary, and everyone feels welcomed and safe. The job is simple and quick since is a tiny hostel with enough volunteers to help with daily cleaning. You will have pleeenty of time for yourself, and to join the events that Jake runs each day. You'll have the best time in Edinburgh joining this beautiful and warm team!

I had an amazing time as a volunteer at the hostel Backpacker Hostel. From the beginning Jake,Grazie,Sarah and all the other volunteers made me feel very welcomed. I would describe the general vibe of the hostel as very welcoming, open minded and familiar. I loved that the hostel is offering events each night- the ceiligh was my favorite one of the week !! If you have the chance, GO, it's so much fun !! Over all I really enjoyed my time there, I made life long friends and I really miss being there.

It was amazing! First of all, the location and the environment around the hostel is really good, the hostel is the best location to stay in the city. Jake, the manager, is an amazing person, he is a really good man, always willing to help with your doubts. And the hostel has a friendly relationship between the staff and the guests, without a doubt it was an amazing experience for me, thanks for all Jake!

The experience in the hostel was perfect for a first time volunteering, the hostel has a special vibe that always makes you feel cozy; unlike other hostels I've visited, You get to share with both workers and guests as equal. Jake is an amazing guy, full with energy and always open to receive suggestions, give help and solve the problems. The shifts were fantastic, you work for two hours in a very decent task and you get a lot of free time for yourself. And visiting Edinburgh is an experience that You can't skip, such an amazing city!

I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel. I was lucky with the amazing volunteer team the month I was there, we had a beautiful time together. Also Jake, the manager, is an amazing person, very understandable in all situations and always open to dialogue. He also let me do the hostel's social media for a while, which was a super cool experience. The hostel vibe is like a cozy place in a big city and we have events every day in cool places (like pub crawl) or even inside the hostel (like game night). I'm already missing it 🖤 Thank you RMB for everything! ☺️✨

My first experience in volunteering and I loved it💕, the hostel Miles the hostel is a small hostel very familiar headed by the energetic jake who at all times made me feel at home with his naturalness and spontaneity. As for the volunteers I can say that there is an energy of brotherhood that I hadn't experienced for a long time and that comes to nourish with beautiful experiences our human curriculum vitae. Best hostel in Edinburgh! I don't have words to describe this experience. the hostel is super cozy, cool and have a place in my heart. The job is everything that is agreed and it's a super fair exchange. The location it's perfect for you to go around and know Edinburgh by walking after work. They're super flexible and friendly and know the best places in the city and Scotland.

My experience in Edinburgh and volunteering at the hostel was excellent. The staff is lovely and helpful. The volunteers feel welcome and at home. The hostel is in a great location, and the work is easy. I would definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel.
