My experience was really nice, I made incredible friends and got to see the stunning beaches in Crete! The hostel is central and located in a beautiful part of the city, you can do almost everything on foot. The work is easy and flexible, but it's worth mentioning that I went during low season.

This was my first time volunteering and I'm so happy I could stay forever. The tasks are simple and fair ( mostly cleaning bathrooms, taking the trash, mopping and sweeping and folding sheets and sometimes making beds.) and you get enough time to explore Crete. Nikkolo , Joe and Kostas are amazing managing the hostel, they always have the most chill and cool vibes, they are always around making sure everybody is having a great time and they really know how to make the hostel really alive with laughter and fun. I love Rethymno so much , and I will never forget this experience! ❤️

My time here was amazing, it went so fast and I definitely could have stayed longer. Nikos, Kostas and Joseph made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The vibe at this hostel was so chill, the work is simple and I met so many amazing people on this adventure. I am looking forward to coming back to visit soon.

The hostel was an incredible place as my first volunteer experience. The work was as it was said to be, and Kostas, Joseph and Nikos are so friendly and make you feel at home. The hostel is in the perfect location, and I met some amazing friends who were volunteering and staying there. I couldn't have picked a better place, thankyou guys!❤️

I had a wonderful month working at the hostel! I immediately felt at home there. The work itself was easy and more than reasonable. You have tons of free time to explore Rethymno and the surrounding island. Joseph, Kosta, and Niko - thank you for everything! I am grateful for your friendship and my time spent at your hostel. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to volunteer on a Greek island. Hoping to be back someday soon! 💛

I had the greatest month in the hostel !! Everyone was extremely nice, kind and open with the schedule to any plans we might have. Definitely felt like a Home, the hostel has the coolest vibe and the work is very easy and a chill environment. All the staff is amazing. Thank you again for everything 💘💘

Perfect first international volunteering experience! This was my first time ever leaving the US & I couldn't have picked a better place. I felt so at home here right from the beginning. The people who work here and stay here are truly amazing & the vibes are great. The working environment is super laid back. Mostly just simple housework & upkeep (sweeping, mopping, laundry etc). The accommodations are great as well. Spacious, clean & comfortable. I 100% recommend to anyone but especially for first time volunteers like me! Thank you so much to Niko, Joseph & Kostas 🧡

I had a great time! This was my first experience volunteering so I was not sure of what should I expect but I was glad to found Joseph, Niko all the guys and staff there made made me feel welcome. They always respected my schedule, my space, my free days and they're just super nice, humble and hardworking people. About the job, they need a person who can clean the common areas, toilets and the bedrooms. It wasn't very busy when I was there but keep in mind you have to clean everyday. It was only a couple of hours and then you have your free time. Also,Rethymno is small but beautiful🫶🏽

I had the most amazing time at the hostel! Joseph and team were the most amazing hosts; they were always there to help guide you around Rethymno/Crete if needed or even just to chat! The city of Rethymno is an amazing place and there is so much to explore on Crete. The work was mostly cleaning and changing sheets and was beyond reasonable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves hiking, beaches, and meeting other travelers.

The hostel truly felt like a second home. I volunteered for just over a month and I'd definitely recommend the experience to anyone and everyone. The work was super fair and straightforward and all of the staff, other volunteers, and guests were some of the most amazing people I've ever met. Crete itself is also a beautiful island with so many things to explore and some truly gorgeous beaches and hikes. Thanks so much for everything and I can't wait to come back one day soon! <3
