This was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Jacob and the team were friendly and helpful, making me feel at ease straight away. the hostel is cozy and the location is great. the tasks are not difficult and in any case you will have assistance whenever you need it. During my free time I explored the city, improved my English but above all met amazing people from all over the world. I definitely recommend it!!!

The people at the hostel were very friendly and so were the other volunteers. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. The people were all very friendly and I really liked the volunteers I met.

Was a good experience, but if you're looking a hostel to live an intense experience socializing and meeting people, it's not for ya, it's very quiet and the guests are living like residents, so, they're living in London to work, they're not travellers. Sometimes will apear some problematic and impolite residents, so you'll need to take a breath and handle the situation so as not to cause fights. But i really loved my time there, the most part of volunteers are good peoples. i want to thankful Carlota, Flee and Darren for always supporting me when i needed, i'll miss all of you ❤️

This was my first volunteering and it was an amazing experience. Jacob and the team are friendly, and working hours and tasks are fair. The location is great, with easy access to all of London, close to parks, museums, groceries, restaurants and bars. The food is wonderful and they let us have leftovers. It was a really cool experience, I met incredible and inspiring people. I definitely recommend it!

It was my first volunteer experience and I have a lot of beautiful memories now. The location is really good, the food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. The best thing here is that I met a lot of nice people from different parts of the world and was able to improve my English. It felt like my new home. I planned to stay here for 35 days but had to leave and go back home suddenly after 3 weeks, Jacob and Carlotta were so nice and understood my situation. It was heartbreaking for me to leave, I hope to come back soon .. I recommend this place to everyone!

The hostel has an excellent location. You can walk to Oxford Street, Notting Hill and the great museums. My room was large and I always shared it with 3 incredible girls, the room is equipped with a fridge and microwave. The work was peaceful, I worked serving meals, cleaning and organizing my work space. The food is delicious and varied, with vegetarian options and desserts, the chefs were attentive to guests and volunteers and we had meals for the entire day. I am immensely grateful for being accepted by Jacob, and for all the help that Carlota gave us.

I've had a great experience here. The work was simple and we usually finished early so there was plenty of time left to explore the city. The meals and location are really good with shops and tube stations within walking distance. I was positively surprised to have a fridge and microwave in my room. The best part was meeting so many lovely people from all around the world. I want to mention one incident where the nightporter cat-called me, the management made him apologize to me. The staff made me feel welcomed, Jacob and Carlota are nice. All in all I'd recommend volunteering at this hostel!

I've really enjoyed my experience in this hostel. Good location, 3 minutes walking from Hyde Park and really good facilities. The tasks are not hard and if you finish earlier they let you go. You will work just 2/3 hours a day which means a lot time free to do whatever you want. Jacob and Carlota are such a friendly and lovely staff, they will be always there in case you need them. The meals provided are delicious and you will have leftovers it means you won't need to spend money/time shopping. It's a big team of volunteers so easy to get along with someone. Thanks, you made me feel at home!

I had to run-out before my time due to circumstances beyond my control. But what I can honestly say is that this place is true to its name. It's a house and a home. It's warm and friendly and you have ample time after volunteering to do everything you can. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Loved it when I was there Jacob and lurent are amazing 👏
