The farm was a very welcoming place to stay, Deepa and everyone else make you feel right at home. The work was always fun with Dinesh who is very kind and makes sure that it's not too hard for you. And lastly it is a very beautifull place to stay, both the farm itself and the surroundings. Would recommend!

Alex is a great volunteer with a super positive approach. Despite his young age and less experience, he dived into both the work and the cultural exchange here with open curiosity.
Which made a good experience for all of us on the farm. Thank you for you kind contribution Alex!

Spending two weeks at the farm has been a great experience, each person who lives here (Depa, Dinesh, Mangalore, Nana, Ama, Kabita) are great people who make your stay at the farm very nice. The work in June, July and August can be a bit hard, but they try to keep it varied to make it more enjoyable. The place is beautiful and perfect to disconnect. Regarding the food, it is delicious and they give you a lot to eat throughout the day! If you are doubting whether to volunteer here, do not hesitate and do it!

Jon stayed with us during monsoon where lot of the work is cutting grass and making compost. It's quite physical work, but Jon went to it with eager curiosity, managed it perfectly, as with all the other farm tasks. His polite and friendly personality and helpful approach made it a great exchange on all levels.

The farm gave me the amazing opportunity to meet a lot of other travellers as well as to learn what work on an the farm is like. Deepa was a very kind and generous host, Kobita was an exceptional cook with all meals being absolutely delicious and Dinesh and Mongole, the two full time workers on the farm had a lot of charm and were very funny to work with. Definitely recommend coming here for a two week stay to have an alternative travel experience. I'll remember it for a long time to come.

It was a great experience! Although I worked 5 hours each day, the work was not too hard: it was weeding, turning compost, digging, and picking coffee. It was not too hard even for someone like me who mostly works with computers - more often than not I was told to go slower, not faster. The food was really good, and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The farm and the area around it is absolutely beautiful. I even had the chance to go to a Tamang wedding! Finding the bus to get there was a little tricky so make sure you get to the bus stop early and ask locals on the street for help.

It was great to have Eliana here. A native New Yorker! She is curious, ask questions and likes to learn about the cultural and social things. She made a great effort to integrate and learn. Eliana is very sociable and get along well with all. Talented in digital construction. She surprised us all when she made a wonderful digital model of our farm and farmhouse. She did all the different farm work which we had a the time.

I had an amazing time at the farm. Deepa and the staff took really good care of me. I had some issues with the food, and they tried their best to help me with this situation. Regarding the job, it took a few days to break the ice with the guys with whom I was working with (since I was the only volunteer for a couple of days) but it was a great opportunity to get to know each other better. The job in the farm was mainly physical: helping to build a wall, watering plants, etc. I really enjoyed it! I would recommend 100% the farm to anyone!

I have been away from the farm this period and couldn't meet Carme in person, but all the others confirm that Carme is a very friendly, helpful, understanding, calm and easy person to host. She is an experienced traveller and adapted very fast and easily into our local environment and farm routines.

The best thing about the volunteer was meeting the nice people who are behind the farm, they are super nice and kind. The work was hard, cutting grass for hours and several days becomes an exhausting task, due to the moonson season there was no coffee to harvest, only composting, collecting grass and cutting grass. The experience would be different if you visit the farm when it is your turn to help with the coffee. Even so, volunteering was very pleasant, I learned so much and above all to value the work of the people who work the land, my admiration for them.

Thank you Carolina for your kind feedback and great contribution to our project.

You are 100% right, grass cutting and compost making is hard work and we don't expect volunteers to be able to work as hard as local. As long as volunteer focus on the work you can work in your own pace. If to many days in a row is too difficult, its possible to adjust your days off.

We will advise volunteers arriving in the rainy season to read the updated information about work during rainy season, on our website.

I had a really good time here at the farm and it was nice to get some extra grass cutting skills. The farm it self is super beautiful. It is nice to see how everything grows and what it all takes to grow things. Deepa felt like a mom, her hospitality was on point! Also the rest of the team was very welcoming. Tougher with the other volunteers it felt as a big familie!

Pod stayed with us in October on our "study" program, working 3 hours daily and studied the rest of the time.

Pod is a extremely easy person to have around as he is very friendly, calm, honest, polite and will do any work given without hesitation.

It's been a great pleasure for us to have you at the farm Pod. We had a wonderful cultural exchange also learning a lot about Thailand. Pod is an aspiring English teacher, a certified diver and a great chess player!

On his last days he volunteered in the nearby moonestary teaching sports and about the ocean, underwater world, to the monk students there.

Thank you very much Pod bhai for your nice contribution in our community.

I spent 2 wonderful weeks in the farm. Thomas, Deepa, and all the others on the farm were more than welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I stepped into the village and farm. I was surrounded by the nicest bunch of people all throughout my volunteering experience, learned a lot about nature and plants on the farm and around the area, and was able to truly experience and learn about Nepali culture and customs. This experience has been incredibly precious to me, and will always remain dear to my heart. Big thank you to everyone! Sending love, Ruta

She would try her hands at any given tasks. Cutting grass, weeding, mulching, feeding plants, sorting coffee, picking and processing hibiscus was some of the work she did.

Ruta is sociable, kind and friendly and we had a unique cultural exchange also learning about Latvian culture.

The last day she gave us a big surprise presenting a super nice video of the farm and life here.
