I am endlessly grateful for the time at the community. I learned and grew so much and we had a bunch of fun. Living together with the other volunteers and meeting very open and interesting guests gave a lot of value to me. People at the community are very supportive, open for all kinds of creative activities, non-judgemental and have a high team spirit. Everyday there are small funny unexpected moments or deep conversation about life you share with the people. Work was also fun and very diverse. I was Community Manager, Baby Sitter, made Pizza & decorated clamping tents. Thank you for everything the community!

Unfortunately I couldn't do the experience as both countries went to lockdown during that time. But Julianne is an amazing understanding person. They seem very organized and very empathetic. I hope I'll manage to go whenever it'll be possible.

Unfortunately, the lockdown didn't allow me to volunteer at this place, but the communication with the host was very good. I still hope I will be able to go there. :)

It is a very complete experience to practice English, learn about German culture and socialize with people from all over the world. It is a volunteer work full of teamwork and collaboration. Makes you want to stay a long time. On the other hand, the community Team is very aware of the availability of hours and work, as well as being very attentive to our state in the the community. Finally, I want to thank Julianne and Janosch for their attention and exceptional treatment.

I stayed for a total of 6 weeks and are already planning to come back! I got various tasks like: taking care of the bar, helping to prepare and serve meals, cleaning, washing the dishes, babysitting, gardening etc... Inspiring people, beautiful interiors, amazing healthy vegetarian food, countryside feel and immersion in the nature make it a place to be! The hours and tasks are more than fair (they never exceed 20h/week) and Julianne is the best boss I've ever had: fun, friendly, honest and flexible. All in all, this place is a volunteering pearl, don't think twice about coming here:)

I'm really grateful to be part of the community! It's one of the best experiences I had in my life and I'm still here stuck with this amazing Quaran-Team because of CORONA I couldn't fly back home. Fortunately, I'm always lucky to meet good People; Julianne and Janosch the owners let me stay with them until I can go home, they're so kind, treat me like family and always asking me if I'm fine! I'm spending a good time in the community, we still work to not be bored like cooking, cleaning, working in the garden, sanding & painting the windows, chatting with the Quaran-team. the community Lover - OUSSAMA ZAOUJAL

The community has been my family now. Unfortunately, my "journey" as a digital nomad had to be cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, but fortunately, I was here when all the countries' borders closed. My flight back to Brazil was cancelled and I had to extend my stay here. Julianne, Janosch and all the others make us feel like home. Nice place for staying, awesome food and fun activities for counting our hours and have our mind healthy while all world tries to be safe, again. I still don't know when I will leave, but I am sure that, from now, I will be connected forever to the community family.

We are still here extending our stay because of the coronavirus pandemic. They invited us to stay regardless of the number of volunteers and for that, I will be always thankful for it. The most organized and comfortable place I have been as a worldpacker. A must-have experience! They know how to create an incredible environment and atmosphere for everyone involved, hosts, volunteers, and guests. Organized schedules, a peaceful environment, perfect for relaxing and get some work done! I wish I can come back soon. I simply love this place! Thank you the community!

The community was an amazing experience for me, and learn about social life and sustainability. Julianne and Janosh They were very patient and kind. All the fellow volunteers were very friendly and patients, I was able to find new friends. Everyone supported us a lot, we helped in gardening and I see that there is a lot of gender equality that is quite positive. The place is very clean and you can use the bikes. I promise that on my next visit my English will be much better.

The community is everything I expected from a "workation retreat" and more. Of course, they have good WiFi, snacks, and coffee. Besides all that, everybody is kind and open-minded, the food is AMAZING, and I was encouraged to work on my own projects. Also, I met so many creative people: writers, freelancers, creators of all kinds. Staying there was one of the best experiences of my life! I felt listened to and cared for. Danke schön! <3
