Awesome place, even in the winter time! totally worth the visit. Good accomodations, awesome vegan food, really beautiful woods around. a little hard to get around, as there are few buses that travel to and from the station (think of is actually as a small village), and there are no free bikes avaliable. I would certainly stay longer and come back whenever possible. Julianne is really open for a conversation and the team is amazing. I'm taking those people for my life for sure!!! Unfortunately I did not see colab open (it just did),but I'm totally glad I was part of this experience!!

I am grateful to have been part of the Cocanat experience, it is a beautiful place 1 hour by train from Berlin, perfect to be focused if you have your own project. It is a place where the meeting of people and social interactions occur naturally, both with volunteers and in cowork spaces. The work never exceeds 20 hours and it is perfect to practice English since you are in constant contact with the guests, I recommend this place if you are looking for the tranquility of a small town but also enjoy being with more people.

My experience at the community was amazing. I met many people from different countries and met some nearby cities. I felt at home. There are only two people per room and the atmosphere is very pleasant. It is a great place for those who are vegan or vegetarian. I highly recommend :)

It has been an incredible experience at the community. The host is super nice, the tasks are easy and well divided into the week schedule. You are an hour away from Berlin and easily connected. Absolutely recommended to future volunteers!

The community is super interesting as it creates a community of locals, travelers, volunteers, co-workers with different backgrounds and histories but with the same energy. The work is varied and not too heavy. The accommodation is great with shared rooms but plenty of space. You share the experience with many volunteers, so it's always an exchange. There aren't many attractions near the city but you can find some trails, villages and you have a fairly easy access to the train station if you want to travel further. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience in the community, my first experience with Worldpackers on an international level! At the beginning I had a little difficulty with communication, but little by little we adapted and I felt more and more integrated into the space. The work schedule is organized and announced in advance. The work is easy and there are people to guide you. The volunteers, hosts and guests provide a very welcoming environment. I thank Julianne for all the attention and dedication to make our experience unforgettable. I will cherish every moment with great fondness in my memory! Vielen Dank!

An amazing experience! Shifts are organised in advance so you know what to expect and can request certain days off. Work is simple and easy. Such a lovely place in the countryside with loads of trails to explore. You can easily visit other cities in Germany from the local train station. Loved meeting everyone - volunteers and guests - and learning about their home countries. Don't hesitate to go!!

The community is a fantastic place to develop your own projects while getting in touch with amazing people that can give you feedback and support. The tasks as babysitter are quite simple, just keep in mind that you're going to fall in love with Elodie. The environment between volunteers, hosts, guests and everyone around is just enriching. Going to different places from the community is really easy, you have access to bikes, busses, trains and taxis; but of course there are a lot of activities you can do at the voluntary. I would love to go back!

The community was a completely different experience than before and just what I had hoped for in many ways. A perfect mix of nature, personal and work development, connection with other travelers and digital nomads, a place of magic that will undoubtedly continue to grow. I really liked the organization of tasks, team communication and seeing how a community works. The most beautiful thing about it is its people and the feeling of being with the family, at home. Thank you for everything and I would love to come back at some point.

Amazing experience, totally recommended to fellow travelers. I spent just 4 weeks at the community, wish I could've stayed there longer and already plan to go back! I met truly inspiring, fascinating and interesting people, and it was a time to re-connect with nature and with myself. The tasks were varied and change often, as there is always something to do, so no time to get bored :) I also enjoyed the fact that there's always another volunteer willing to help you out, which enriches the whole concept of community living. Only have love and appreciation for the community!!
