My experience in Barcelona has been really nice. I've picked the right season to visit this city as there are always a lot of events going on. I also met really nice guests. The hostel has a great family dinner every night and activities so this is a plus. Negative would be the staff dorm: it's small and different storage options/ coat hangers could be added. Reception shifts are as mentioned in the profile. You'll always find someone to help if you have questions or if you're nervous about anything. Sebastian has been really helpful, flexible and I really enjoyed working with him.

Overall, it was a very good experience that allowed me to meet a lot of nice people from all over the world and to develop new skills professionally speaking. I was happy with the team I worked with because there was mutual respect and a good understanding. As in all companies, there are some problems but I think that they do their best to find solutions.

Volunteering at the hostel truly was one of the best ways I could have imagined spending a summer in Barcelona! The location is wonderful, the vibe of this hostel is unmatched to almost any other hostel I've been to. Such a good energy at the hostel! Juan has a great eye for picking other volunteers, which is very important to me to have a good team to work with. I will forever remember my hostel family. Juan is a very passionate manager, and I thank him for such a wonderful 3 months. I just might have to come back one day!

My stay in the hostel was brief due to bed bugs. They said they were fumigating the following day but talking to the other volunteers I realized it was a problem that started a while ago. The “breakfast” is actually a cup of tea/coffee, when I confronted the manager he said that if I wanted to I could buy bread and use the toaster. Which is fine, but don't say youre giving breakfast then because that's a lie. And the community dinner is a bunch of plates laying in a table, also not a dinner. The manager left me by myself on the first day to go sailing and said I could call him if I had a question

Experiencia magistral! Mis tareas fueron siempre en relación a la recepción del hostel. Lo cual me permitió desarrollar habilidades de front-desk, adaptarme a resolver situaciones en el momento, y mucho más. Hay buena comunicación con todo el staff, por lo que nunca estas sol@. Las cenas gratuitas son abundantes y la ubicación del hostel es espectacular! Siempre estaré agradecido con Juan, John, Guada, Felix, Nico, Ingrid, Dora, y voluntari@s. Por semejante oportunidad, la cálida integración al equipo y al país! Si tenes actitud y eres agradecid@, recomiendo la experiencia profundamente!!

Fue mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers y no pude eligir mejor! Mi objectivo era aprender español y conocer personas que ahora son mis amigos. Esta experiencia me cambió la vida y por supuesto aprendì muchas cosas nuevas como el trabajo en reception que te permite siempre de practicar idiomas y de conectarse con los huespedes. Me encantó muchisimo la relación con los managers Guada y Juan que siempre estaban disponibles. Los turnos son fáciles, divertidos y inicialmente se empieza en la noche [00.00 - 8.00]. Hay lavadora, bebidas y festas gratis! Gracias p360, hasta pronto❤️✅

La experiencia fue excelente , los mánager muy claros y sencillos en lo que necesitan por parte del voluntario. Los turnos y tareas son de recepción y para nada complicadas. Además el resto del staff es super amigable y uno termina por convertirse en una gran familia. Muchas gracias por todo 🙌🏼🙌🏼🧉🍻🫶🏼🫶🏼

El hostel fue mi primera casa en Barcelona y no me podria haber tocado una mejor. Conoci gente hermosa, aprendi muchas cosas nuevas y por sobre todo disfrute al maximo. Solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento para con todo el equipo y me llevo grandes recuerdos, experiencias y amigos :)
